"if you badly want to stay downtown, this is not a good option, building and parking are in bad shape, need renovation, looks like people live in there or sort of government help, saw lots of women with young kids, kids sometime crying or screaming early morning which can disturb your sleep. breakfast offer is a joke in a paper bag you have 1 muffin 1 yogurt and 1 juice that's it tea and coffee a on table, pretty much take the bag and go back in your room, no seating room there. inside the room is basic beds were comfortable but the blanket is very old, fridge and microwave works fine , AC is very loud have to put it off.their price is way off, better go somewhere else for better services. the staffs were nice and helpful but the place is ruined down. along Rideau street there are other better hotels. Will not come back here specially at this price."

"This hotel was fantastic. It’s a bit no frills but was spotlessly clean and our room had all the amenities we could want. We sat out on our little balcony and enjoyed a drink and the view. We also really loved the delicious full breakfast. I was expecting just muffins and coffee so eggs, toast, croissants and fruit (plus lots of other options) was a delightful surprise. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others."

"The rooms were clean and spacious as well as comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little busy so some of the public areas could have been a little cleaner but nothing serious. "

"Room was clean, but had shower over bath with curtain, rather than walk in style. I would’ve preferred a kettle to boil water for tea rather than use coffee pod machine in room. Staff friendly and helpful, but not all able to speak fluent English - understandable as Quebec is French speaking - but good to know this beforehand. Hotel is close to Ottawa (10 min taxi ride to CBD). Buffet breakfast on offer was a nice selection of fresh fruits, cereals, hot foods, breads - additional charge but I thought was worthwhile, and there were no nearby alternatives to go to. Would recommend to solo traveller - I felt safe staying there."
