Great Location!

We have been renting the Finnish Line for several years now. This property never disappoints! Location is perfect, great restaurants, lots of activities, and the owners are super easy to deal with. Great House By The Point

My family has been staying at Emerald Isle for years and has returned to Finnish Line for several years now. The Point neighborhood is great and the house is within walking distance of several access points to the beach. The house always seems to have something new each year when we return and the owners and management team are very responsive.

Family Reunion

This property couldn’t have been more perfect for two families to share and host dinners for the rest of the families. The property was clean, well maintained, the location was perfect. My family can't say enough about our first stay at The Finnish Line! The house was wonderful in every way. Well stocked kitchen. A top deck balcony that we could have spent all day on enjoying the view. Well maintained. Nicely decorated. We had the most wonderful week at our 1st time in Emerald Isle. Repeat stay

We had a wonderful time. The beach at this end is large even at high tide. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we were able to get outside. There is a wonderful path, where I walked everyday, easily accessible for exercise and the men purchased a pass to drive on the beach with all their fishing gear. We are getting older so the unpacking is getting harder bc of the 2 flights of steps necessary to reach the kitchen and living area. The view from the porches is well worth it.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. There was a small hiccup during the stay with a swing, but the owner handled the situation very professionally, and had the swing fixed by the next day! We had a wonderful time overall, and would highly recommend the property for gatherings of 34 couples!

Another Great Stay at Finnish Line

My family and I just wrapped up another great vacation spent at Finnish Line on Emerald Isle. The Finns are great hosts - answering questions when they come up and keeping the house both well stocked and maintained. The beach in this neighborhood is sizable and not crowded. We look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful home!

This house has a nice layout and is beautifully decorated. We love to cook, and the kitchen is so well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare any meal we wanted. There are water views from all the porches which is so nice but it is a short walk to the beach. We had small children so next time we will rent a cart or two to pull all the supplies or even the kids. We will definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Emerald Isle, and this house didn’t disappoint! If you love the beach, this home is for you: beautiful ocean views from the third floor deck with nice ocean breezes, sound views from back deck, plenty of outside space to enjoy including porch swings, close beach access, ceiling fans in every room, nicely and tastefully decorated…I could go on and on. We just returned home today, and I feel so relaxed. All the stress melted away as soon as I stepped inside the Finnish Line. Property owner was so nice and responsive, too! I would definitely recommend this home for some R&R!

Best way to describe it - Perfect!

I had the opportunity to organize a reunion with sisters and cousins that we refer to as a ya-ya gathering. The word that kept coming up to describe our stay was perfect. The house provided everything we could ask for and more. We spent most of our time on the porches with coffee or wine, or at the beach. Thank you for providing such quality beach chairs. This is an example of many of the details that are considered for a wonderful stay for guests. The overall experience has set the bar for future ya-ya gatherings. I can't wait to book the house to share and make memories with my immediate family. Thanks for the hospitality the quick responsiveness to all of my questions.

Loved! Loved! Loved!!! The views are great from all porches. The kitchen/living/dining area is great for everyone to be together. The bedroom level worked perfect for us. While the future bride and her attendants were being entertained on the top level, my husband enjoyed the tv area on the bedroom level. Bedroom level lets one retire for the night without being disturbed by those still up on the upper level. It is a quick walk to the ocean. You can see the point and the activity going on there from the top deck. From the back deck you see the coast guard station. Convenient to great shops and dining but a neighborhood feeling. We loved our week there.

The Perfect Home Away from Home!

While this was our family's first stay at the Finnish Line, we hope it will not be our last. This property will not disappoint....it is wonderfully comfortable and beautifully decorated. The master bedrooms are large with sitting space for reading or watching TV. You will not feel crowded or disappointed in this home. The large, open plan, upper level incorporates the kitchen, dining and living spaces and will accommodate a large number of people. The kitchen is amazingly equipped and had everything needed for meal prep, from an instant read thermometer to a rolling pin and all the pots, pans, and baking sheets a non-vacation home would likely have. There are beautiful views of both the ocean and sound from the upper level front and back decks. During our stay, my husband spent many hours on the front upper deck reading and napping. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers on the front deck and made homemade ice cream on the back deck. It is clear the homeowners want your stay in their vacation home to be a positive experience. The property was immaculate and the owners quickly responded to any questions or concerns.

House was dirty but great location

We arrived and the house hadn't been cleaned. The response I received from the property management company was "well you're early". It was 2:45 (3:00 official check in time) and the owner had told us we were good to go and given us the code. A very nice woman and young man arrived to clean about 20 minutes later as an emergency crew. They spent about an hour and were very apologetic. They tried their best but there were still dirty sheets left on one of the beds, hair on the bathroom floors and overall it felt rushed and unclean all week. I had tried to contact the owner through VRBO but messages never went through- I assume they turned that feature off so property management could handle issues. Disappointing start to our trip but the location was lovely.
