“Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

The property manager and host were so incredibly nice and accommodating! They really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable.”

“Chika is a very gracious and communicative host! She was also accommodating and super friendly. The home itself fit the needs of our group for a one-night stay. There was plenty of room and the bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed. Chika even included toiletries that came in handy for some of us. “The place was nice and neat with all modern finishes. The two bedrooms had nice large beds with tvs and the kitchen was nice and new. The owner lives upstairs and lives there so being aware of the living situation is important but if you’re looking for a great view, location and place to stay that’s quiet and well appointed, this is it!”

“The home is in the middle of nowhere so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but as soon as you walk in your energy changes. It’s beautiful. It’s decorated nicely, smells good, and looks exactly like the photos. One thing I would say that needs to be addressed is the way the water comes out the shower head. It feels like a sprinkler system at the amusement park. We went to Hershey Park during our stay hence the reference. LOL. I……
