“Do not stay here if you're a little on the large size (over size 18?) or shorter than 6ft tall. The kitchen cupboards are so high we could not reach china etc on the top shelf and yes I am a little on the large size (size 24) and to get to the loo the passage way is so narrow that I had to walk sideways like a crab! otherwise the apartment is fine, decor and fittings are really lovely and the use of space has been well designed. “We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.”

From the outside we were actually a bit anxious as some of the other apartment / hotels are run down but the minute you step foot through the door you can see how much time effort and care has been put into your stay. “The property was in a great location for the town centre. The road is very narrow so be mindful of what size car you have, but we were fine. Only enough parking for one car, so had to park in the park and ride for the other car, but that was easy enough. House is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend.”
