İbri Boutique hotel

İbri Boutique hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The Ibri boutique hotel is a lovely quirky small hotel with lots of charm. The location is next to St John,s ruined church and burial site in Seljuk. Ephesus is a short drive away and the archaeological museum is just around the corner. The terrace restaurant above the hotel serves excellent home made dinners."

Pikan Ephesus

Pikan Ephesus

8/10 Good
"I stayed at Pikan Ephesus for three nights while touring Ephesus and Pamukkale. Overall it was a nice little hotel in a convenient location, though with a couple of frustrating hiccups worth knowing about before you go. Diyar, who handled check-in and was around throughout my stay, was very friendly and helpful. My door was broken and he showed me how to lock it at check-in, but the mechanism was a bit confusing, and the next morning I accidentally locked myself out — with my bag inside and my Ephesus tour departing in half an hour. Diyar did his best to help, even trying to get into the room through the window, but we couldn't manage it in time. I ended up having to dash to the nearby Migros (grocery store) to buy a hat and sunscreen before my tour, since everything I needed was locked in the room. Thankfully, my pickup ran about 15 minutes late and the tour company agreed to pick me up from Migros instead so it worked out — but it was a stressful start to the morning that could've been avoided with clearer instructions or a functioning door. Breakfast was also a bit of a letdown timing-wise. It's meant to start at 8:30am, but on the morning I needed it, service still hadn't started by 9:05. Aside from those issues, the room itself was a nice, atmospheric stone room — simple and bare bones, no TV and not many amenities, but clean and comfortable. Laundry for only 400 lira was helpful too."

Ayasoluk Hotel

Ayasoluk Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"More than a five star hotel experience. It felt like we were staying with family. Our stay at Ayasoluk Butik Otel was truly extraordinary. We have stayed at some of the finest hotels, including Ritz Carlton properties, and the warmth, attention, and genuine hospitality we experienced here surpassed what we have come to expect from even the most luxurious hotels. From the moment we arrived until our final farewell, we were treated not simply as guests, but almost as family. There is a level of personal care here that simply cannot be manufactured or taught. It comes from people who genuinely love what they do and want you to experience the very best of their hotel and this beautiful part of Turkey. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained, intimate, and full of character. And then there are the views. Watching the sun set from the hotel and restaurant was absolutely magical. It was one of those moments and places you know you will remember long after your trip is over. The restaurant deserves its own praise. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and enjoying dinner overlooking that spectacular sunset made the experience unforgettable. If you appreciate Turkish rugs, do not leave without asking about Black Sheep Rugs, located on the same property. Calling them rugs almost doesn't do them justice. They are truly works of art. Most importantly, our heartfelt thanks go to everyone at Ayasoluk Butik Otel who took such wonderful care of us. You transforme"

"The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was included but we were a little confused because we weren't told on check-in and it wasn't indicated on our reservation or anywhere on the booking. Close to town. Just minutes away from restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a good experience. 😀"

"Had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. The new owners were so helpful. Even took us to the bus station and made sure that we got on the correct but to visit another village that we want to see. Have a lovely terrace on the roof, and you can take your own drinks. Rooms at the back are quieter than the front."
