「The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. 」

「Nothing about this hotel was right. The the way the pitchers look is not the way the room is they put us in a rodardy room. I asked for them to change the room. We're clean, they put us in another dirty room. That was smaller and did not accommodate what my reservation was. Then, I asked for the to just cancel the reservation and give me a refund. If they could not accommodate us. And they did not do that. We ended up spending a whole nother amount to go to another hotel and I have not heard...

「This little boutique hotel is in a perfect location for walk ability to restaurants and retail in downtown St. Simons. The staff are nice and professional. I highly recommend Village Inn and Pub for your next visit. 」

「I would have like to have been able to swim in the pool. I asked before I booked and was told that the pool would be opened. Unfortunately, this did not happen. There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. Had I been privileged to accurate information, I would have made another choice.」

「Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.」

「Room was dated and mold in tub and walls of bath. Curtains did not keep huge lights outside from shining into room. Dining table was dirty at bfast. Food was fine and plenty to choose from. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again.」

「Rooms were clean, location is excellent and so is the staff. I chose to pay more for this hotel because of the location, it's convenience to downtown and the restaurants in the area. It met those expectations. My only complaints are that twice the landscapers in the area were operating a blower early in the morning waking everyone up. The TV remote sucked. The wifi sucked more than the TV remote. For some reason, cellphone service on the island is spotty and in the hotel it was terrible. ...
