“We definitely enjoyed our stay at Lake Martin and the house was beautiful! We liked having the boat slip as we rented a pontoon boat to go out on the lake during our stay. The house was very nice and clean, and had plenty of toilet paper and trash bags which we appreciated! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and we were able to cook all our meals which was so nice! We also enjoyed the fire pit outside! The only things we didn’t love was that there were cameras on every corner of……

“We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described on the listing. The kids loved kayaking & the big water mat. We had brought our boat & the guys thoroughly enjoyed going out fishing every day. We did have a hiccup with the AC but Dana was very responsive in getting that taken care of for us. “We were in town for the Auburn graduation. The house was clean, with plenty of room, especially on the decks and the dock. Check in/check out instructions were very simple, and the info binder had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Great value compared to hotels in Auburn, especially at graduation time.”

“Our family spent Thanksgiving at The Perch. Everything about the house is perfect! The layout is great. The kids enjoyed the downstairs den and ping pong area. The main level has an open den and kitchen setup with lots of windows overlooking the beautiful view. We liked the layout of the bedrooms and the beds in each room are extremely comfortable. TVs all around the house are a plus especially during football season. The outside space is great with the deck, grill and outdoor dining space. Down……

“This home is beautiful and inviting. Eight adults fit easily with plenty of room to spare. Outdoor space is amazing. Kayaks were available for use. No hand towels or kitchen towels as mentioned in a previous review. Minor repairs needed which were mentioned to the home owner, but nothing that interfered with the enjoyment of our stay.”

“Perfect place for my family and I to unwind during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house itself was spacious for our group of 4 adults and thoughtfully laid out for guests. I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake and the pool nearby. Our host was gracious and responded quickly to all my requests. Thank you!”

“The property was as beautiful as advertised. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The drive to Auburn University graduation was only about 40 minutes. Our afternoons and evening on the lake was very relaxing. Checking out was difficult only because we didn't want to leave. It was a great stay!”
