“Our stay was amazing The Chapel was in a beautiful location, a 2 min walk to the local pub and excellent for walks. Th hosts were very accommodating with a sample of some local treats , wine and beer. We will definitely stay again and would fully recommend ”

“Wir haben drei Nächte in dem Apartment von Nicolas verbracht. Nachdem wir anfangs nichts von ihm gehört haben, hat der Check In dann doch geklappt.Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche ist neu mit großem Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind schlicht, aber schön und mit gutem Betten ausgestattet. Es gab keine Gläser, Nicolas hat noch am gleichen Tag uns die Gläser vorbeigebracht, sehr hilfsbereit. Leider entspricht der Außenbereich überhaupt nicht dem Foto, der ist……

“Booked this location as we were going to a festival, the manager of the property never got in touch for getting us into the property we were asked to wait until 4pm on the day we were meant to be checking in. 4pm rolls on no contact and told theyd issue a refund. Still havent recieced one had to find new accomodation for 7 people on the day of the festival. Shocking. Will never be using them again. ”

“Check in was easy communication with host was good lots of left over items around the house I.e someone’s dirty laundry left over food and bathroom itemsKitchen relatively well equipped no forks though!”

“We loved staying in Charlie’s property. It was very clean and well maintained and was a gem. Parking was tricky round the back but plenty of on street parking was available. A few trips down the hill into town certainly built the glutes on the return up the hill! Highly recommend Stones restaurant and Sourdough Dave’s bakery for bread in the morning. Matlock is a lovely town and well positioned for walking (Dovedale, Edale, etc all within 30mins) or visiting Bakewell or Chatsworth House.Perfect……
