At check in we had to provide all the information that was provided online to Wyndham Super 8. The attendant gave us our key and told us the stairs were behind us, “The owner is cheap and doesn’t think an elevator is necessary. The light at the sink flickered and then never worked again. We immediately notice the missing bar for TP with the TP roll stuck on the bar and there was only 1/4 of a roll. Over 3 days we never received more TP and ran out the morning of check out, forced to use facial tissue. The sink drain plug was missing and we almost lost several things down the drain. The trash at the front door of the hotel was over flowing and was still like that at check out. There were 3 cars parked at the entrance to the parking area with cones that hadn’t been moved in what appeared to be years. Lots of weeds in the rock/flower area showing a lack of maintenance. Not impressed with this Wyndham property and will NOT return.

Budget hotel is enough!

A budget hotel that seems clean enough, safe enough, comfortable enough. Great location for I-26 and downtown Erwin.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The staff was extremely friendly and flexible for our needs. The facility is dated, but they work hard to keep things tidy and comfortable. It’s easy to reach and just a minute or two from several food venues. We’ll definitely go there again.

Room was clean, toilet way to low to the ground. Breakfast area smelled like old stale cigarette smoke. Breakfast was basically nothing. 2 types of bagels, 2 types of cereal and 1 choice of a donut, coffee and juice.

Staff are friendly, however, the property needs attention. Carpets in poor shape, the air conditioner fan sounded like a plane trying to take off, and two lights did not work in the room. Free breakfast is a bowl of cereal, a donut, orange juice, and coffee.
