“A special thank you to the great staff at Starbal villa, they have all been very helpful in eg booking a taxi, making us feel welcome from arrival 7h before check-in. You can order an omelette or/and a crepe for breakfast and get it hot from the kitchen made after your preferences.”

“Having stayed at a different Barcelo this one was below par. Complained about tv signal on night 1 and nothing done to rectify for 25 hours, even then it didn't work again the entire time. Complained a 2nd time and still nothing done. Staff were not very helpful. Air-conditioning not working in gym. Disappointed in this compared to our previous stay in lanzarote which was outstanding”

“Perfect location for Es Castell, short walk to the port but also very close for the bus to Mahon. Room was basic but all you need. My only comments would be in regard to check-in - details are sent by email so you need roaming/wifi to access, and (may just be my settings) was VERY small to read - could be complicated for those expecting a reception etc. Link for tourist tax payment did not work but staff were around and able to support on check out.”

“Amagatay is a peaceful oasis in rural Menorca. The hotel and surrounding grounds are stunning. We both felt incredibly relaxed after a spending a couple of days there in the tranquil setting. The service was excellent, with the friendly staff always on hand to help or provide recommendations. My partner had a massage there and said it was one of the best she ever had. Finally we were blown away by the food, which was a particular highlight! We ate at both restaurants on site - the grill at……

“La propriété est incroyablement belle, jardin et hôtel. La piscine est dans un cadre sublime. Dommage que la psicine ne soit pas plus à une température tempérée pour profiter des jets. La chambre etait grande et spacieuse mais malheureusement une odeur d'humidité etait persistante ce qui nous rend l'expérience mitigé.”

“When we first arrived it was late and on getting into the room we were a little disappointed; it’s very basic with no tea/coffee facilities and the mattress on the bed is extremely thin and hard. It was clean, but just felt a bit bare and tired - my partner likened it to staying at your nans house! However, we started relaxing into the place after the first day.
