“10/10 would stay here again. Comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Loved the stocked kitchen, activities in the home and all of the hosts local recommendations. We all left agreeing if we come back to Gladstone/Escanaba area, we will seek this place out again!”

“Great place to stay with my family. Wonderful host and beautiful home!”

“This was my first rental. we were amazed with the property. Cant wait to book again next year!”

“The House was just what e we were looking for a week of family time. Centrally located in the UP with Chatham / Eben Junction co-op, Mama Cow and Snack Bar favorites. Quiet, house will appointed. Second bedroom is a full sized bed instead of Queen was the only bummer.”

“Amazing property! Close enough to enjoy Marquette but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax.”

“The townhouse is a lovely place to stay. There is a large living room, dining room, an eat in kitchen and 3 large bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own bathroom. The air conditioning consists of window units as the heating system is hot water. The only drawback is the only bathrooms are upstairs. The location in Garden is nice.”

“We spent 2 days there. First time I rented a cabin. I like that all of us could sit around in the living room and be comfortable. I already recommended the cabin to family who like to fish.”

“This house was exactly what we were looking for to relax after our daughter’s wedding! The house and the grounds were so inviting and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is excellent - and the recommendations of what to do/see very thorough and appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to be back soon!”

“We hadden een leuk verblijf in het gezellige huis!”

“The Birch Retreat apartment accommodations were very nice as described. Great large shower, but not a full kitchenette (only sink is in bathroom) but owner added lots of accessories to make it easy to do basic things. The property (and one other adjacent Plum Retreat apartment that I know of) is connected to lovely & gorgeous new Secret Gardens with a new small shop & on-site events developed by the owner; the Birch apartment is a renovated part of the re-development of the former Green Gables……

“Smooth experience and easy communication with the host. Highly recommend!”

“The location of this home was perfect for our fall foliage trip to the UP. We were amazed with the modern amenities with this listing. And, the property was so immaculate that we guessed that we were the first guests at this newly remodeled VRBO.”

“The home was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to enjoy all of the local offerings. The house had everything we needed. The coffee bar fully supplied was wonderful. The guide book for the home walked us through everything we needed to know. We had lovely evenings relaxing in the hot tub. The host was very responsive to our questions and to offer suggestions of places to visit. We look forward to returning to this beautiful home and area. 10 out of 10……

“Having the shops and pier near by was great”

“Close to town but not as close as was assumed”

“The size of the house was perfect for our group. My kids were able to have their own space when they didn’t want to be around the adults. The dock is great for fishing. The fire pit worked great. Although it was a good place it did have some issues. Small ants in the house (primarily one of the bathrooms). Lack of dusting the corners of rooms. Many spider webs that need to be taken care of. Some of the cabinet drawers in the kitchen are either hard to close or fall out easily. Lack of storage……

“Beautiful place, thanks for the great customer service!! You respond quickly to any questions and met our needs immediately. Thanks for a great stay.”

“Wonderful place, very quiet.”
