Great staff, very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Comfy bed, nice pool. As I like milky coffee more milk would have made the stay perfect. I did ask for and was given 2 more but I needed many more. Breakfast was great..Thank you for a great stay.

The reception was good, the people in charge AMAZING I would just suggest paying attention to the details like I was given an empty box which should have had personal cleaning stuff inside and the tissues box was also almost empty. Also the TV didn't have Netflix as suggested (I think due to the WiFi signal strength) but these are minor things I could have fixed just by asking. Breakfast was good and location for public transportation too. For Essen Messe the location isn't fast to get to unless you have private transportation. There is also a supermarket close to the hotel. Would recommend this place, absolutely. Just worth mentioning that the elevator doesn't get to the topmost floor but you need to use the stairs to that last floor, this wasn't a problem at all for me but take into consideration if you can't use the stairs

This hotel could have earned 5 stars easily because it's staff, rooms, and services are great. However, to promise a fitness center (gym) and then dont have one isnt good business practice. They do have a pool and 2 (!) old, outdated, and crappy cardio machines next to the pool. That's NOT a gym.

This was a terrible hotel primarily because of the front desk person on the night of 3/18 (Saturday). First off, in the description, it was not clear there was limited parking. We arrived at 9 PM and found no parking so when we attempted to ask him where we could park, he misunderstood us and became very rude and combative for no reason. This was a terrible experience - I don't normally leave reviews but this was bad.

Dieses Hotel ist ein kleiner Rohdiamant, der als Roher Diamant nicht aber im inneren sehr schön ist. So ist das Hotel in meinen Augen. Es gibt ein super schön dekorierten Frühstücksraum, hab selten so viel verschiedene lose Tee Sorten gesehen (keine Teebeutel), Frühstück ist toll 👍 Zimmer man glaubt es nicht sind super Sauber und sehen auch noch gut aus, ein Riesen Fernseher, Wasser, Kaffee, Tee auf dem Zimmer. Ein Schwimmbad und eine Sauna runden das ganze noch ab. Also Badesachen nicht vergessen 😉

Ich bin das erste Mal im Hotel am Sportpark abgestiegen, daher wusste ich nicht so recht, was mir erwarten würde. So habe ich auf dem Weg zum eigentlichen Termin in der Stadt einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht, um die Unterkunft vorab kennenzulernen. Das Hotel war sehr einfach zu finden, und ich wurde sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Alles Wesentliche wurde mir erklärt, und da ich terminbedingt erst sehr spät am Tag eigentlich einchecken konnte, wurde alles vorbereitet, dass ich problemlos Zugang zum Hotel/Zimmer erhalte. Hierzu ist auch anzumerken, dass die Kommunikation per Mail in der Zwischenzeit automatisch und sehr positiv verlief. Alle Wünsche werden in sehr kurzer Zeit bearbeitet und die möglichen Lösungen schnell kommuniziert. Nach einer ruhigen Nacht begann der nächste Tag mit einem sehr reichhaltigen und variantenreichen Frühstück. Neben frischem Brot und einer großen Auswahl an Cerealien und Obst gab es Kaffee satt sowie frisch gebackene Brötchen mit Aufschnitt, Käse und gekochtem Ei auf Bestellung. Hierzu wird man bei der Begrüßung zum Frühstück unaufgefordert gefragt. Nichts scheint dem Personal zu viel zu sein. Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes fühlte man sich sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Man merkt, dass die Inhaber und das Personal die Gäste sehr wertschätzen und alles daransetzen, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Hotel steht deswegen hoch auf meiner Liste von Unterkünften, die ich bei einem erneuten Besuch in der Stadt wählen würd.

Preis Leistungshit!

War für ein Wochenende in Duisburg und war mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Die business suite war eine sehr geräumige Wohnung. Alles war sauber. Das Frühstück war reichlich und Europäischer Standard. Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Der Pool ist etwas älter aber noch im grünen Bereich
