The balcony had lovely flowering plants nearby that were wonderfully fragrant which added a special feature to our morning coffee on the porch. “Island View Guesthouse is a little gem! Their dinning area is quite quaint with an impressive panoramic view of East, South and West Charlotte side of the Island. John and Jerome are great Host, and displayed best in class service. Extremely polite and accommodating. They made my stay comfortable. “I’m giving 5 stars for the restaurant staff for their stellar service and great food but 0 stars for the management staff. On the 2nd day we got a massive leak and maintenance said that that’s the room they having issues with leaks and they can’t fix it.The room also was very outdated with the tv only being able to stream YouTube. The biggest red flag they have is their complete lack of security presence during the night time. On one night while my kids were trying to sleep a couple of women……

“The room itself was nice and adequate. However, the pool was very dirty, common areas in poor condition, WIFI was useless (extremely slow), had dinner plans for 7pm at the restaurant (reservation made by lady at front desk) and later called saying they weren't serving dinner. ”
