At a walking distance from the center or from a wild beach, along the famous and oldest French Golf, up on the cliff, in nature. Come to test the delightful silence and the excitement of the close mythical city in this unique setting!

Ground Floor: Big living room, three windows and a door window overlooking the garden. Around an old fireplace, two sofas, excellent Hi-Fi. Dining room, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet at the same level.

Miller stairs getting to three interconnecting rooms, two of them having separate beds. All rooms have a view on the garden, the golf and the sea.

360° around, you will not see any other building else than the roof of a church and a light house! Long walks await you along the cliffs.

We hebben drie weken doorgebracht in dit gezellige, oude Normandische huisje van de heer Thibault, vlak bij de indrukwekkende kliffen van Étretat – en wat een plek! Het huis ligt midden tussen de velden en zicht op de zee, volledig afgelegen van de drukte – je hoort hier vooral vogels, de wind door het hoge gras en af en toe een tractor in de verte. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen.Tijdens ons verblijf waren de boeren in de omgeving bezig met het afdoen van hun maïs, wat alleen maar bijdroeg aan het landelijke gevoel. Het uitzicht over de velden is prachtig, vooral bij zonsondergang – elke avond leek het licht anders en even mooi boven de zee.Het huis zelf is een pareltje: oud en charmant, met een gezellige, knusse inrichting. Geen moderne luxe, maar dat maakt het juist zo sfeervol. Denk aan houten balken, een open haard, oude vloeren en een keuken waar je ’s ochtends rustig koffiezet terwijl je uitkijkt over de velden. Alles is aanwezig om het comfortabel te maken, maar het voelt ook nog authentiek aan.Wat we ook heel fijn vonden, is dat je vanuit het huis mooie wandelingen kunt maken naar de kliffen of Étretat, met z’n gezellige straatjes. Ons hondje had ook een prachtig verblijf. Als je op zoek bent naar rust, stilte, natuur en een huisje met karakter, dan is dit echt de perfecte plek. Wij hebben volop genoten – van het niets hoeven, van het buiten zijn, en van het eenvoudige maar fijne leven daar. We zouden zo weer teruggaan! Bedankt ook aan Regine voor al haar hulp.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur und dennoch sehr zentral. Wir haben Wanderung, Tage am lokalen Strand uns insgesamt die einzigartige Umgebung der Normandie sehr genossen! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Wir haben auch öfters gegrillt und die Tage in dem weitläufigen Garten verbracht. Der perfekte Ort um in die Natur zu flüchten. Die Küche war auch top ausgestattet und wir konnten jeden Abend tolle Gerichte kochen.

Dream Location for a stay close to the cliffs in Etretat

The house is a dream for those who enjoy being away from the crowds and rooted to the earth. We enjoyed the walks into town and along the cliffs and rewarding ourselves with a fire and l'apéro in the evenings. The owner, Thibault was amazing with his communication and assistance…stellar. OverLl, my wife enjoyed 8 nights of peace, tranquility and bliss in this magical location.

Maison de charme parfaitement située, 10 minutes à pieds, d'un côté vers Etretat, de l'autre vers les falaises et la plage ! Très au calme, vraiment isolée. Les photos et la description sont conformes à la réalité. Parfait pour deux personnes et un animal. Merci au propriétaire d'accepter les animaux et d'être soucieux du bien être de ses vacanciers, et à Régine, d'être très accueillante et serviable.

An der wilden Küste der Einsamkeit

Das Haus liegt sehr schön, direkt hinter einem sehr gepflegten Golfplatz und ca. 15 Minuten fussläufig von den berühmten Klippen der Alabasterküste entfernt.Das Haus mit seiner Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen und vermittelt den französischen Charme in allen Details.Jeden morgen begrüsste uns ein kleiner Vogel mit seinem freundlichen Gezwitscher, das s einzige Geräusch in der absoluten Stille.Mit dem Vermieter Thibault hatten wir eine sehr angenehme Korrespondenz und die Übergabe und Check Out durch Regine waren sehr angenehm und unproblematisch.Thibault hat uns den Weg zum Haus vorab sehr gut erklärt.Vom Haus aus waren Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie Etretat, Fecamp, le Havre etc. In kurzer Zeit erreichbar.Alles in allem ein erholsamer und ruhiger Urlaub. From the very beginning, everything was perfect! Thibault and Christian were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house is easy to reach via a private road, and the location is absolutely breathtaking.While others park in the valley and hike up for the views, you’re already there! Early mornings and late evenings feel magical—you have the scenery and ocean all to yourself.Bring your bikes! We explored the coastline and its charming villages with our e-bikes. The house itself is completely secluded, offering total privacy.And don’t forget to pack some good books! Imagine taking one of the house’s folding chairs, sitting on the cliffs in the evening with a cup of tea, gazing out over the ocean, listening to the waves crash against the rocks, and breathing in the fresh sea air. You will completely lose track of time.The house is well-equipped, with a spotless kitchen, a cozy living room with a huge fireplace, and even a lockable bike storage room accessible from the kitchen. The terrace is spacious, perfect for outdoor breakfasts.The beds are incredibly comfortable, the water tastes fresh, and the bathroom is huge, with a large bathtub and a massage shower.We already miss waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning or drifting off to sleep while reading in bed with the distant rhythm of the ocean in the background. Einsam und romantisch

Wir (2 Personen und Hund) haben den Jahreswechsel in diesem schönen Haus über Etretat verbracht. Wir mieten sehr häufig Ferienhäuser, auch in der Normandie, hier ist uns aber ein echter Glücksgriff gelungen. Das Haus liegt einsam, umgeben von weiten Feldern und in Nachbarschaft zu einem Golfplatz. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, schöne Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 min über den berühmten Klippen von Etretat und kann lange Küstenwanderungen unternehmen. In 20 min. erreicht man den Ortskern mit vielen Lokalen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, allerdings auch vielen Touristen. Das Haus ist ein romantischer, typisch normannischer Altbau. Einfach aber sehr geschmackvoll mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Charmanter französischer Landhausstil. Bei Sturm etwas zugig, aber mit mit einer gut funktionierenden Heizung. Höhepunkt ist der große, offene Kamin. Neu eingerichtete Küche mit umfänglicher Ausstattung. Vermieter und Haushälterin vor Ort sehr freundlich, gute Kommunikation. Empfang mit brennendem Kamin. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Ideal für Naturliebhaber und Romantiker.

Wonderful Stay at a beautiful home

We had an amazing time at this cozy old house. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay including enough wood for the big open fire place. We will probably come back for another vacation.

Maison avec du charme, serait super avec quelques rénovations nécessaires

Maison avec beaucoup de caractère, de charme. Emplacement interessant si on aime un peu marcher. La voiture dans etretat cest cher et compliqué donc.mieux vaut rester garé a la location. Maison tres spacieuse. La literie est tres bien, confortable ni trop dure ni trop molle , les couettes assez chaudes. L'environnement est joli et pres du chemin pour avoir une super vue L'accueil est fort sympathique, par mail, au depart, et a larrivée Concernant les points à améliorer : - la lumière...gros point à ameliorer trop trop sombre dans le salon, quand le temps est gris dehord ca fatigue. Au niveau des chambres il manque des va et viens et pareil des lumières beaucoup plus fortes. On se fatigue les yeux le soir - des couvertures seraient bienvenues, les couettes sont chaudes mais une couverture par lit serait necessaire. Les gros points à ameliorer : L'insonorisation...dans les chambres on entend tout salle de bain,cuisine donc il faut une famille qui a le meme rythme sinon vite compliqué au niveau bruit. Un toilette a letage serait bienvenu, ainsi que separer les chambres. On a ete prevenu mais cest dommage il y a la place, elles sont toutes dependantes en fait La cabine de douche est neuve cependant il ne faut pas etre gros et il y a des problemes devacuation des odeurs. Dommage la salle de bain est immense, une cabine si petite Les menuiseries de vraies passoires thermiques et acoustiques... On entend malheureusement le tracteur et la tondeuse ou tracteur du golf...

Eine Woche in Etretat

Das Haus war schön groß, sehr gut gelegen, wir haben uns viel bewegt, deswegen war die Lage optimal für uns. Sauberkeit des Hauses könnte wirklich besser sein, ansonsten bequeme Betten, Möbel etwas zu alt, aber da weiß man von vorne herein, dass es kein Luxus-Haus ist. Wir hatten kein W-Lan und kein Fernseher, es wurde versucht mit dem Anschluss, aber leider vergeblich. Wir mussten unseren privaten Internet benutzen. Sehr netter Vermieter. Viel Platz zum auslaufen für den Hund um das Haus herum. Im großen und ganzen alles sehr schön :)

Situation exceptionnelle pour profiter d’Etretat à l’abri de la foule ! Avec de bons marcheurs,inutile d’utiliser la voiture ! Parfait en famille ,car les chambres sont attenantes,et il n’y a qu’une salle de bains,mais le propriétaire le spécifie parfaitement bien …

Traumhaus mit Normandiecharme

Ein tolles Haus im klassischen Stil. Alles ist einfach aber super charmant. Abends haben wir den Kamin angemacht und das offene Feuer mit seiner Wärme genossen. Das Haus ist entlegen und damit sehr sehr ruhig. Hier schläft es sich wie es ein Städter nicht kennt absolut leise. In 10 Minuten ist man an den wunderbaren Klippen. Etretat ist eine Perle wie die gesamte Küste mit den kleinen Ortschaften. Alles super? Ja fast, der Weg zum Haus besteht aus 800m Feldweg mit sehr tiefen Löchern. Wir hatten Mühe mit unserem 3er BMW nicht aufzusetzen. Wenn es regnet verwandeln sich die Löcher in schlammpfuhle. Aber der Weg soll 2023 asphaltiert werden. Das Haus ist einfach was wir als wohltuend empfanden und dem Charakter angemessen. Wer ein luxushaus sucht sollte hier nicht einchecken aber wer Ruhe in einmaliger Umgebung mit tollem Ambiente sucht sollte hier zugreifen. Für uns unerheblich aber das Tv Gerät funktionierte nicht da ein Kabel fehlte. Auch sollte erwähnt werden, dass alle Schlafzimmer in eine Reihe als Durchgangszimmer ausgeführt sind. Unser Fazit: Eines der besten Häuser die wir je gemietet hatten!!!
