“Great little cabin in the forest. The many cabins are near one another but it was very quiet. We enjoyed strolling amongst the big trees and driving the short distance to the little town of Trinidad. One note: no bathroom sink in our cabin, so all handwashing, teeth brushing etc. has to be done at the kitchenette sink. ”

“This property was perfect. It was such a cute cottage with a wonderful back yard. My dogs are small so one of them did slip out of the yard. We made some adjustments & it didn't happen again. We never walked to the beach but it was a short drive. I would definitely stay here again. And I'm recommending this cottage to my friends!”

“I was worried that the other cabins would be too close and have little privacy, but I was wrong!! The cabin was tucked in the beautiful trees, cushioned with the local foliage of ferns. It was truly perfectly nestled, quiet, and so peaceful. I would recommend this as the ideal place if you want a retreat in nature to recharge your internal battery. We only booked one night, but I wish we had stayed longer. It was healing and therapeutic!”

“This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and it was just as enjoyable as the first time! The cabin has everything you need and is so darling and comfortable! And then there are the views which go on forever and never get old! If this is someone’s first time to the beautiful town of Trinidad I would highly recommend the Luffenholtz cabin! You’ll be close to everything yet the cabin feels very private, it’s the perfect getaway!”

“We had the best stay at this house! The rental property was so kind and let us check in a little early..the house had everything we needed and more to make our stay feel like we were home! Bunk bed, toys and games for the kids, extra blankets in every room, a fully stocked kitchen supply with every pot, pan, utensil, paper products, and coffee! We made most of our meals at the house, which was super convenient while traveling with our 4 kids. The beds and furniture were so comfy, and the propane……

“A little rocky checking in due to an unexpected mixup with housekeeping. The managers helped sort it out and the rest of the week was peaceful and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the sound of wolves singing at night, calling to each other across the darkness.”

“The Lucky Clover was exactly what we were looking for. A cabin-esque experience with all the amenities for a comfortable stay, nestled outside of town in the trees but still very accessible to everything. The property manager was quick and kind with communication. The kids loved the detached game room and our family enjoyed playing games around the big dining room table. I would sit with my coffee and read in the sunroom each morning and it provided a much needed break. Thank you!”

“Very clean, very nice, cute cottage in Eureka. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Had some concerns, hearing that the area was in a bit of a downturn and that there are some questionable ares of the city. But this house was in a nice residential, clean area. We spent our 2 days there traveling to the redwood forests, so we were gone most of the time. What we did see of the town was nice. There were a couple of run-down areas and some questionable folks hanging around there, but most cities have this as……
