"I’m always impressed with the aesthetic of the rooms. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but the only problem I had was that the bed sheet was torn at the foot of the bed and when I brought this up with the staff they offered to fix it straight away. I left them to fix the bed sheet, however upon my return, the bed sheet was still in the condition I found it in (torn). I then brought this up with the front desk who offered me a free upgrade as there was no housekeeping available at that time. I was thoroughly impressed with how they dealt with the decision. Overall I had a great stay and the Alan is my go to hotel for when I’m in Manchester. I would highly recommend it."

"We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this lovely hotel in a prime location. Nice breakfast, kind staff, and walkable location to Queen’s walk and Big Ben. Also, we paid a little extra for great view of Big Ben and the London Eye from this hotel. "
