This was fine for one night while traveling. It was decent enough place for a good night’s rest, and we weren’t expecting anything more. We were on our way from Tampa to Key Largo and wanted to experience the Everglades, and this town didn’t disappoint. A couple really good restaurants in this town and we took a fantastic airboat ride.

Hotel was very affordable . And clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was pretty comfortable. The pool was not heated but well maintained and not crowded. Only drawbacks was that you could totally hear the guests in the two adjoining rooms due to thin walls, and the LED lights in the room were soo bright. But honestly for the price is totally recommend this hotel.

Always enjoy staying there. No issues, I seen many report the air conditioning was poor however it was already cold and I couldn’t tell if it was working good or not. I always get friendly staff check in and this is my 10th Tim staying there. No complaints here.

Really lovely check in staff. They give you clear instructions to check in at a different location about 1 minute up the street. Not a big deal. The kids loved the pool and larger rooms. Great porches, screened in. Basically a full kitchen. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable but squeaked every time you moved. Registration is in another location down the road and so is the ice machine. If you have mobility issues you should let them know. It is a two story building with no elevator so you will need to walk a flight of stairs to get to the second floor. When checking in they give you a map that shows where the stairs are. I didn’t think anything of it at the time until we arrived. Thankfully I was able to take the stairs. If you stay more than a couple days you do need to request if you want the room cleaned. There is no food at this location but there are great restaurants located minutes down the road. I didn’t use the pool. The location is great, just down the road from fishing, airboat rides and the marina. I would stay here again if I was ever in the area. For me the most important thing is a clean room and bathroom with clean linens and they definitely delivered in that area.

A/C worked fine. Beds were comfy. No Bugs except for Mosquitos, but hey...it is The Everglades! Older building. Very plain and simple. Perfect for a place to make a pitstop on the way to or from Key West.

Woukd have been good to know that u need to go to a different location to check in. Also was not told there was no ice machine at the hotel, next day we asked and was told we could get it at another motel down the block, so went there to find the ice machine was broken. So ended up going back to the original place that we checked in to get ice.
