"Very quiet room after a late flight"

"Breakfast: I wasn’t give a breakfast voucher upon my arrival and when I went to the restaurant I asked how the breakfast works and was stated I just order off the menu, I thought it was different as most hotels have the buffet style. Then I was given my bill and then was told I was supposed to get a voucher on my check in…then I was told I ordered something that the voucher wasn’t for and was only compensated a portion…very poor communication in my opinion Hotel conditions: Blinds were messed up and had troubles closing Tile was DIY silicone fixed when cracked Walls marked up and drywall cracks Next to a train yard to it was loud and disruptive at time AC would make something rattle in the room all night when on Loud guests in the hallways at midnight, not very sound proof Doors slammed hard GYM This was okay, nice amount of weights & equipment, not cleaned over night as there were still empty cups and towels that were in there the night before. Staff was friendly Lots of transient people in the neighbourhood, not an Ideal part of town I’d choose elsewhere my time time in town "

"Everything is as great. I would've nice to have a breakfast included but overall it was good. A lot of construction going on but we were aware of it before we booked. "

"Room is outdated and more concerning to myself is that it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There was a scummy ring around the bathtub. Had not been cleaned. "

"Front desk staff some are very nice they were above and beyond and did the hospitality right. But others like the manger of the restaurant. Very aggressive and confrontation to defend the rude experience. One night I was at the buffet in the morning . One staff have been informed that I'm a guest . So I got seated the other waiter came with sneakyness ( has a Hench and wanting to investigate but with a nice face and smile and careful steps ) come to me asking me if I need anything then asking is I was working with anyone like air Canada then slowly asking if I was a guest .I just stood up and left and made a complaint. I already was seated n I told the other waiter that I was a guest. When I went to the front desk they were laughing in my face . Chief called and tried to make up but I wanted to check out and left because I didn't want to stay with the vibe that I'm being judged. Next week ok r two I forgot about it and brushed it off because the Chef was very sincere about the experience and apologized sincerely. . The next visit I went to the lounge at night to order something before bed. I asked the waiter for the menu and when I was about to order I said I'm ready to order. Then she loudly said " what can I get for you ? Butter chicken!. I said why would you think I was gonna get butter chicken. I said I'm good thanks and as i was walking away to bring to the front desk. She is following me to the front to make sure she is there when I make the complaint. Sonfro"

"Leaving at 3 am is never easy, but the stay was very good, and the kindness and friendliness of the front desk agent was extremely good. She was perfect for my wait until the airport shuttle returned for me. Thank you"

"Great stay, friendly staff, just had a false alarm 4 in the morning that disrupted sleep. Also the ceiling was leaking in some places on 3rd floor "
