“Legacy Beach Suites is an excellent place to stay. Firstly, the owner Mr. Mckenzie is extremely accommodating and friendly. I felt right at home immediately. The room was very clean, spacious and well designed. All of the necessary amenities for comfort were available. The icing on the cake was the breathtaking beach within walking distance and in clear view from the room. “We have a home on the island, but we needed a place to stay for 2 nights as we had guests at ours. We brought my daughter and her friend for their senior trip and the only request was to see the pigs. So we decided to stay up this way and hope to see the pigs without a tour. “Mom and I started our trip here for our Mother’s Day getaway. Beautiful views and water from the beach or restaurant/bar next door. We were in one of the upper apartments. No view of the beach or water due to the mature palm trees. Apartment is basic - minimal accommodations (like wash any dishes & fill the coffee pot from small bathroom sink) for those looking for a great value and basic accommodations. “The views from the porch were breathtaking. We had 4 adults and had plenty of room. The private beach was great and was able to float in the water. We used the kayaks to explore the sandbar. Getting to the house from Queens Hwy was a bit rough but I rented a jeep based on a prior review and had no issues. The house had everything we needed and truly enjoyed our stay.”

“Steve was a fantastic host. Everyone says reach out in their reviews, and they aren't wrong. From suggestions with pre-planning activities with my 7 month old to the extensive advice after arrival of things to do. We were also welcomed with some cold beer and breakfast supplies after a late arrival from delays. The house was also in a great location (would recommend a rental car, but thats for anywhere on Exuma) close to grocery stores and pretty central on the island. Great breeze that goes……
