“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do……

“The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. “The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at.
The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance.

“We knew the bathroom was not en suite, but we did not realize how far from our room it would be for middle of the night trips up and down all those stairs!
