Fantastic stay at the Pole House!

We had the best two days at the Pole House! It was as good as all the reviews said it would be. The house is so iconic, so well appointed, so comfortable and when you take into account the spectacular views, it just is second to none. We’ll be back!

To say the Pole House is iconic is obvious. We kept pinching ourselves that we were actually it’s guests. Every time we walked across the bridge felt like we were stepping into a very privileged space. For lovers of seascapes gazing out its windows is unparalleled. We slept with the blinds up and woke to the waves rolling up the beach. The facilities were all very comfortable and functional

The property is a great place to unwind with its spectacular views and the sound of the ocean.

Spectacular views incorporated with the sound of the ocean was what we needed. Only downfall was no coffee for the coffee machine available.

What an unbelievable experience to stay at The Pole House

This house has always caught my eye every time we passed by and I always said one day I will stay there. As I approached the walkway to get to this wonder it just took my breath away. Warm and cosy by the beautiful hanging fireplace totally immersed with the stunning views surrounding us.

Smelt like sewage and they blamed it on seals…. Property is dated inside, fold out bed Way over priced for what it’s worth Internet didn’t work, had to hotspot off my phone Great view but 1000% not worth the money Would never go back or recommend

We have always wanted to stay at the pole house! I finally booked it for our anniversary & omg it did not disappoint! We checked in at 2pm and didn’t leave till the next day. Cheese platter & drinks followed by cooked dinner all with the most amazing view! Standing outside getting photos cars go by beeping their horns, amazing experience! Previous reviews we have read say the bed isn’t comfy but we assure you it’s comfortable! We both had a good sleep listening to the ocean and waking up to that view is all you really need to have a memorable experience here! Very cosy inside with the fire made it feel like home. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you :)

Ticked this one off the bucket list, so glad that the owners are sharing this with others to experience! Inside needs a refresh though, although many items were/are expensive when new, it doesn’t really feel cosy or relaxing due to the dark, cold nature of all of the black fittings and cabinetry inside, some coffee pods and fresh milk could have been nice, as well as some matching glassware that isn’t just from Kmart. These things are important to me. Also, I don’t think the bocci lights above the dining table work, and some of the outdoor lights didn’t turn on. The lighting is pretty important too, as subtle warm lighting would have made it much more relaxing. The fire was great although not much kindling until check out when saw a delivery of more fire wood. Made it hard to get the fire going in the short window I was there.

Breath taking views

Only stayed one night it was an unforgettable experience next time we would like to stay in the summertime. Hot water ran out fast so before you wash the dishes I recommend showering first . Coffee machine was great tasting.
