“This property is as advertised. Actually, there was a major improvement in the primary bath from the time we booked in August of 2023 until we stayed at the house in March of 2024. A shower was added to the bathroom which was a wonderful addition. All of the main living areas look out over the bay. There are 2 screened porches which were so useful as well. My husband and I stayed here and were so glad we were not in Gulf Shores proper. This was much more appropriate to our laid-back style and it……

Perfectly decorated - you feel like you’re in Alys Beach and the loft area has an amazing view of the bay and 360 views having you feel like you’re in a magical tree house. You can’t beat the amenities with luxury private pool, bayside view, option of private yoga and massages on the bluff and even access to the gym and bikes! Since we knew that it was new, owners probably still haven’t gotten around to doing a few things.. need oven mittens, utensils for grilling, blackout curtains or shades for morning side bedrooms, ceiling fans……

The house is close to downtown Fairhope and Magnolia Springs for dining and shopping options. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. “We found it difficult to find the cottage, the sign needs to be more visible and updated. It was all faded. Overall, we were satisfied with the country cabin charm. Loved the porch!! Enjoyed watching the dolphins from the pier, along with seeing eagles and blue herons.”

“We had a great time at this little cottage. Plenty of space for our group to spread out. Kayaks, the outdoor patio, boat ramp all a huge plus. Kitchen also had everything we needed and the enclosed porch was a huge bonus. Quiet, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!!”

Fortunately, it reopened on our last day so we could enjoy a final beach walk....my happy place. A few maintenance issues were addressed promptly by the very helpful staff.
