Well stocked and clean, nice location. Relaxing. Lots of activities for the family. Saw a moose on the property on our first morning of the stay. Would stay here again if given the opportunity.

The cabin was just as I had imagined from the pictures. Bill and Carrie did great with their communication and expectations. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly appreciated the amenities that were provided for us.The cabin was very cozy and had a great view and even got to experience some of nature.Highly recommend!

Peaceful, comfortable and beautiful

Beautiful spot. Lots of pine trees but peaks of snow-capped mountains through them. Hot tub was so relaxing. Cabin was well stocked and so cozy.

This house was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit and the hot tub! Sitting in hot tub while it was snowing was amazing! We definitely recommend.

A snowy family getaway

Bill and Carrie were excellent hosts and their cabin is absolutely gorgeous! The property is beautiful and the cabin is super cozy. It perfectly suited our needs and beyond. Comfortably accommodated our family of 5 including a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you could need! You definitely need 4WD/snow tires if staying during the winter months. Would absolutely book again!

Breathtaking!

This has become our favorite vacation to date! We had a comfortable cabin to stay in with AMAZING views! Plenty of space to play our annual family minute-to-win-it games challenge. Plus the peace and quiet was just what we needed for a nice getaway! We cannot recommend this cabin and this host highly enough! We will be returning!

Winter wonderland

We are a family of four and truly enjoyed this brief but magical getaway. The house was lovely and decorated for the holidays, which absolutely filled it with warmth and good cheer. It was well stocked for cooking and daily needs as well as with games, puzzles and other entertainment activities. The owners were helpful/easily accessible and left clear and easy to follow instructions re: the workings of the abode. We’re thrilled to have stayed here and highly recommend it to others!

Perfect Anniversary trip!

Bill and Carrie were so sweet and communication was great! The pictures do not do this beautiful cabin enough justice! It’s so cozy and welcoming and has just about everything you would need for your stay! The views are gorgeous and it’s secluded enough for privacy but close enough for many things to do! Would highly recommend!

Amazing cabin in the mountains!

We had the best experience at this cabin for our Christmas vacation! Everything was just as described in the listing and the hosts were great. This cabin had so much to offer for all ages. Cornhole boards and a fire pit on the deck and a hot tub with an amazing view. The kids loved the game room and all that it had to offer. The kitchen was well stocked with any kind of gadget that you could need for cooking. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay in the mountains!

Great secluded cabin

The cabin was great, the only thing is the miles of gravel roads to get to the house were full of potholes and not kept up on. The nearest town is at least 20 minutes away. Other than that, the cabin itself was nice, the hot tub was very enjoyable, and the owners were good with communication.

Best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in!

This house is amazing! It had everything we’d possibly need and more, it was clean, beds were comfy, and the views were spectacular! Bill was most helpful with any concerns and quick to respond which was nice. It is in the best location too. We drove to Breckenridge,Frisco,and Cañon city and the drives were beautiful and the distance to and from the home wasn’t bad at all. This was the best trip and vacation home and it was worth every penny! Thank you Carrie and Bill for the use of your lovely home.

The house was beautiful! Carrie and Bill were very responsive and even messages to check that everything was going smoothly. The cabin had everything you could ever need, including pantry staples and bathroom toiletries. We were worried about the roads and access to the house since we aren’t used to driving in the snow but we did not have any problems. The county roads were well maintained even with all the snow we got during our stay. We would definitely recommend this cabin if you want something off the beaten path! A great experience!

Snowy hideaway

Let me just say, I did not want to go to Colorado for spring break. My son begged and begged and I finally gave in. Giving in was the best decision!!! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous!! The setting was beautiful! The hosts were incredibly kind and checked in on us during the snowstorm. I could not have asked for a better spring break with my family!! It was exactly what we needed! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Next time, I hope I see less snow and more wildlife lol! Thank you!!

Overall a great experience except for shoveling

Overall everything was as advertised. We had a great time and loved the location. The only complaint we had was that we couldn't get into the driveway without shoveling for an hour. The driveway was clear but the ridge at the end of the driveway where the plow cleaned the road was 3' high and 10' wide. I would think you could have that opened up for your guests when they arrive. Luckily I have 2 sons who could shovel to open up the drive so we could to the house. Other than that I we highly recommend this property.

Cabin review

This cabin was great- very clean set up really well, everything you need is there. Communication with Carrie and bill was great. The area is beautiful and even beautiful views from the deck. The only thing that I would point out to families that want to book this cabin is that it is set on a steep hill, so being outside of the cabin and exploring was difficult with our 1 year old. We were hoping we would be able to play outside in the woods just by stepping out the door of the cabin. And that was not the case with young children. Older children would be fine I’m sure just not for our case this time.

Great house, to far

The house is great. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. This house was fully stocked with all kinds of supplies, kitchen gadgets, spices/condiments, laundry and shower stuff. Both hosts were really nice and quick with responses to any questions we had. If you plan on doing lots of things in Breck, this house is about 35-45 minutes away. It is NOT close when you add up all the back and forth travel time. Altitude Sickness is real! My husband suffered from it terribly the whole time, we had an oxygen machine delivered to the house for our week stay and it helped a little.

Moose at the cabin

Communication and check in were very easy. The cabin was exactly as described. The views were incredible and we saw tons of wildlife! A moose was right outside the cabin on the first morning and we saw some elk and more moose not too far down the road. Its within easy driving distance of Breckenridge and Colorado Springs so theres a ton of stuff to do. We did one day in Colorado Springs, we took the train up to Pikes Peak and went to Garden of the Gods (which I highly recommend!) We did a bunch of shopping in Breckenridge and are leaving with lots of cool souvenirs. We made dinner at the Cabin every night, the kitchen had all the essentials we needed and we took the hosts advice and picked up groceries in Denver. We did end up going to the market in Fairplay and I actually didn't think the prices were too bad and they had a large selection. Overall we loved this cabin and hope to be back! Hopefully we'll get to see a bear next time 😄

SUMMER REVIEW: BEST CABIN EVER! DAD FOR THE WIN!!

This cabin was exactly what we needed in so many ways from rest, to views, to entertainment for the whole family, we couldn't have found a better spot. The cabin is far enough away from any of the tourist busyness to feel like a true getaway, but close enough to FairPlay & Breck to get the tourist experience as well. - Owners: Carrie and Bill made the stay so easy and their binder of instructions makes it even easier! I can't thank them enough for such a great stay! - Cabin: Beds/Bedrooms/Restrooms - They were comfortable and each room provided a fan if needed. We had six in our group and having 3 toilets and showers was so nice! - Cabin activities: This cabin/vrbo is one of the best I've seen when it comes to available games and activities. Ladder ball, Cornhole, board games, video games, movies..etc - Grilling/Cooking: The cabin has everything you need for grilling, cooking, and even a pellet smoker if you want to do a pork butt. - Outdoors & Deck: The views were amazing! Sitting on the deck or in the Hot Tub at night taking in the vast amount of stars, or the mountain views in the mornings with my coffee was one of my favorite activities. My only advice is definitely bring mosquito spray. There are mosquitoes, even at this altitude. - Altitude: buy BOOST if you aren't acclimated I have so much more I could say about this cabin & location. Ultimately, if you stay here it will feel like you found the best kept secret.
