Nice yard

Great Family Haven

This property had everything we needed for a great stay. Amenities were spot on, decor was modern and up to date. Our daughter’s family stayed with us. We took the downstairs, and they the upstairs. Our grandsons enjoyed the gaming room. It was a great base for hiking in the area, and things to do in and near Asheville. Would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation with pups

Absolutely perfect in every way! I would give more than 5 stars if I could! We lacked nothing in the house and the extras were so much appreciated! S’mores basket, dog kennel and accessories, games, plenty of outdoor seating for everyone to name just a few! While we were initially concerned about backing out onto a main road (in a curve), it proved to be a non issue. The neighbors have a few dogs which like to bark their greetings to our pups from time to time, but otherwise our dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard! Our whole family agreed this was our best house rental yet!

Great place for family and dogs.

The property and the surrounding area were great. The house was clean, had comfortable beds and a great yard for our family (grandparents, parents, and grandson) and two dogs. The kitchen included everything we needed to prepare meals and a large kitchen island. The yard was a great place for our family (fire pit, chairs, hammocks, lighting, and cornhole). There are neighbors on one side (back) of the house, the yard was large enough that we had plenty of privacy. There was plenty of room for the dogs to run. We have stayed in quite a few VRBOs (30 at least) since we retired a few years ago. This was the best VRBO we have stayed in when it comes to dog-friendliness, especially when you include the dog friendliness of Asheville and the surrounding area. I especially appreciated that they provided sheets to put on the couch for the dog. There was plenty of hiking, restaurants, breweries, and stores that were beyond dog friendly. It was nice to have a separate upstairs area (would have even better when our children were younger since the upstairs television was set up for gaming. Location was great for us. There were a couple of grocery stores and a brewery were within a 5-10 minute drive. There were also restaurants in Fairview but we only went to restaurants in Asheville (easy to find dog and vegan friendly restaurants there). Josh was very easy to communicate with. He provided timely information and responded quickly to a couple of texts that I sent.

everything was as advertised. the house has everything you could need, the kitchen had a lot of spices and other condiments which was nice. the wifi was perfect and all the TVs were easy to set up. the beds were very comfy, lots of pillows, sheets and comforter were pretty new. bathrooms also nice with lots of drawers and space. we loved the fences yard because we took our dog and she loved to run around and fetch in the big space. we did not get to do the smores but we loved that they included a set of smores to do. we also loved the living room table which you can raise and becomes a dinner table.

We had the best time visiting Asheville, the Biltmore and surrounding areas. The house was great! It was the perfect size and not very far to get to everything that we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again!

Home away from home

House was just as expected and more. Plenty of linens provided and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. Host was quick to respond and answer any questions we had upon arrival. Only issue I had with the property was the location of the driveway. You have to back out into a blind curve to get on the highway.
