“This stay is the third time in a less than 3 months that we have had the pleasure of using this home. As a new mom, I am very weary of the places that I stay in regards to safety of my child. This home is in a great neighborhood, super clean, spacious, and is exactly as described. In addition, the hospital is very close in the event an emergency did arise. The host is always quick to respond to messages and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. 10/10 recommend!”

“Our family stayed in this historic property for a celebration of life of family members who passed away recently. The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. “The place provides what we needed. It had multiple bedrooms and the kids little play room was used by our sons more than expected. It is an old place that could definitely use a little facelift. The property was nice and on a creek with a fire pit. My five year old loved the creek and catching crawfish. Overall no complaints and I would go back with my five year old.”

“Three stars is being nice, this place isn’t bad by no means but the pictures are definitely professional. The bottom floor smells like someone left a grumpy for a few months. The trailer situation is quite ridiculous, as it states a 24’ trailer will fit on the property, this is true but not without messing your trailer up. We scraped every corner trying to get our brand new trailer in place, ended up having to leave it off site as it would not fit without damaging our trailer. You need to update……

“Our riding club greatly enjoyed our visit to Hills and Thrills. The property is located directly on a portion of the Head of the Dragon motorcycle ride. It was more than large enough to accommodate our group, clean and well equipped. The owners were very gracious, quick to respond to us when we had any issues. I would recommend Hills and Thrills to anyone who is looking for a great location for on and off road rides. Thanks to Mike, Kathy, and the whole crew at Hills and Thrills!”

“This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. “Missing a few things like a toaster and half the light bulbs where blown out ther e may be a problem with the electric the lights in bathroom would dim sometimes. Overall it served it purpose. Well. Would definitely go back.”

“Convenient location just off the main road. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. Plenty of room to hang out between the living room upstairs and the game room downstairs. The dishwasher was out of order. The phone numbers for contacting the property manager didn't work, but after e-mailing, we got a call back and there was no difficulty after that. It would've been nice if towels were provided, but the listing advised that they weren't so we were prepared.”
