Relaxing Retreat

The property was great and peaceful. So glad we chose this location. Our dog was happy with the outdoor area to run free and our five year old LOVED all the attention from the friendly farm cats. Great house and accommodations all around!

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Athens for Mom’s Weekend at OU! I visited with a friend to see our freshmen, and the home was perfect—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, and it was such a cozy spot to come back to after spending the day on campus. The host was also super responsive and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit!

Very nice Athens area base camp

We had a wonderful stay here. It was a great base camp for exploring the hiking and biking in the area as well as the city of Athens. Property was nice, clean, and quiet. The farm cats were a hoot, especially Tux, very friendly. Hope to stay here again some day when we are back in town.

Beautiful Getaway

The property is very nice! My family really enjoyed visiting the farm and the stay. The house is very clean and has an amazing kitchen. The hosts made the stay extra special with little extras like leaving fresh farm eggs in the refrigerator. My dogs loved playing in the dog field. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway and home base while visiting family nearby.

Better than you’re imagining

This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and the hosts are wonderful. Very communicative via app but not intrusive. The property is gorgeous and comfortable, and close to tons of fun stuff like Athens, Lake Snowden, hiking, etc. Cute cats and cows and chickens as well. We are already booked for a third stay.

Amazing retreat!

My husband and I planned a quick getaway for our anniversary and this property completely exceeded our expectations! It was exactly what was pictured online and the little touches made our stay perfect. During the day we explored the area and surrounding towns and in the evening we returned to a beautiful, serene retreat where we could watch the sunset while enjoying a meal we made in the stunning kitchen. This is a place you don’t want to miss!

Excellent Getaway Spot for Two!

Loved our stay in this little gem of a guest house! Owners were on site but were careful to provide privacy if desired. Kitchen was perfect for making meals and baking. And the cat cuddles were an extra and welcome addition (should charge extra for feline therapy). The dog run was a welcome amenity. Property was exactly as pictured and did not disappoint. Owners truly care about comfort and safety of patrons and were very responsive.

Weekend visit with college daughter

Beautiful home on a wonderful piece of property. Both Greg and Marrianne were wonderful hosts. I thought it would be weird being so close but it wasn't. Check-in and out process was very easy and communication was a 5+. We have already talked about going back. Took our 2 dogs and they enjoyed it too. The fenced in meadow was a nice place for them to run. We are in a vegan home so seeing all the plant based items in the home was an added plus! Thanks G&M for a lovely weekend!

Unexpected but wonderful

I didn’t read the description clearly enough and was surprised that we were staying on someone else’s property, where their primary home seems to be located. After we settled in, we were able to relax and weren’t bothered by the shared space, especially since we didn’t see anyone all weekend. The house was super cute and with the exception of a few stink bugs in the shower, very clean! Unfortunately, we are used to stink bugs so that didn’t bother us at all. The beds and sheets were very comfortable and the view was relaxing! I think my favorite part was the greenhouse! Thanks so much for everything! Kelly

This was a perfect spot for us to have a get-away and discover Zeleski State Forest and Hocking Hills State Park. The house was perfect: very clean, comfortable, fantastic kitchen, and a very comfy king bed. If we decide to return to the area, we will definitely come back.
