The room was clean and comfortable enough. The location is good, and it's a pretty cool old building. As with all Greene King pubs and hotels, the wifi isn't really free since you have to fill out a form divulging a bunch of personal information to use it, which I declined to do.

Didn't require parking. Good location but the Fareham I grew up in is a shell of its former self. I left in 1975 when it was a lovely market town. The same can be said for The Red Lion. Worn and shabby. They do however have a nice pub and the food is good. Our room was adequate but the ancient shower plumbing was a challenge
