“Just what we needed while in Powhatan for a wedding. Tracy was very helpful and the house was perfect for us.”

“Not impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property. Someone either lives there or lived there and wit ha dog or dogs. Food left in a nasty refrigerator and all closets had some level of personal items and even dirty clothes. Carpets in desperate need of cleaning and floors need a good mopping or 5.”

Tina thinks of everything and is very responsive if needed. The backyard is like a meditation zen garden. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“I took two teams (UMASS & JMU) to the college super regional Pickleball tournament. The house was fantastic because it was affordable for college kids (though one needed to be 30 years of age to book it…I exceed that age), it had lots of beds and enough bathrooms and a kitchen. I recommend getting there in the daylight hours because it is a little off the beaten path and dark when you arrive but it was perfect fit for our needs - great hospitality! Beautiful animals in the property too (donkeys……

From the landscape, to the luxurious furniture upstairs, to the 3rd floor room for the kiddos to enjoy. Everything was impressive and extremely comfortable for everyone. Fully stocked with tables and chairs so no need to rent or buy anything extra for gatherings. Full kitchen upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of……

“The property was clean and functional. We needed a place to stay with the family dog while waiting to close on our nearby home purchase (we were coming from out of state). We were happy with property and now live nearby. The only downside was the gravel road drive through the woods at the end. We're not used to that, but it really wasn't bad. Nice place to stay. We're grateful that we found it. Owner was very friendly and accessible. That was a big plus.”

“We stayed at The Greenhouse for two weeks, and can say it's a lovely place to stay. The location is great, being close to several major retail places. The home is clean and beds are comfortable. Having a full kitchen and laundry room was a bonus. Would definitely revisit!”

“The check in was easy and we had such a good time! It was 13 folks who all came together to pray. Although we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, it was well stocked! The cabin beds were so comfy and the walk to the restrooms was not long at all. Kitchens were both small but the owner had told us beforehand! The one in the house offered a bar that we all gathered around many times! Everyone liked the beds, which is hard to accomplish! Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality!!”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Sunrise Cottage. Beautiful views of the lake! The house was so clean and we appreciated that very much. Knowing that we were celebrating a Birthday, there were happy birthday balloons and candles. Good thing since I forgot 😳. So thoughtful! The homemade Quiche was outstanding as well as the Coffee Bar!
