“A Pausa is a beautiful and spacious villa ideal for a group of friends or a group of families on holiday. Our host, David, was very gracious and helpful. We did our best to keep the villa clean and tidy but there is daily cleaning which was very helpful. The facilities were great and the grounds were huge - we missed that there was a separate property on the grounds that was games and entertainment room! It feels wonderfully secluded and private but really there are shops, the beach and the town……

“Wonderful stay at lovely home. Completely undisturbed - wonderful for birdwatching. House very clean and well set up. Air con in living room is brilliant and both bedrooms had effective fans. The outdoor pool is lots bigger than we had thought - 20ft diameter and a fantastic addition. Rui was very friendly & welcoming and explained things very clearly. He also made himself available throughout our week's stay via Whatsapp which was kind. Must have a car but easy driving to lots of gorgeous……

“This villa was the perfect location and retreat we needed from our hetic London life. A beautiful large mature gardens with so many pockets to hideaway or capture the sun, great size clean pool, a fire pit for night time star glazing with toating marshmallow s. 3 large bedrroms and 3 bathrooms, all had their iwn zones , 1 was in the outbuilding . All the bedrroms had comfortable beds, The whole accommodation had everything we needed for a home from home feeling. Kitchen well equipped. This was a……

“Prachtig, authentiek en zeer ruim huis met een heerlijk zwembad”

“We had a really good time in the house. With three generations in the family, there were no dull moments and the property met most of the expected challenges.The weather was also on our side, so the pool was frequently in use.There were of course some beauty spots, but they mainly contributed to the authentic feel of the house.(the plumming was in some cases in need of improvement though)On the whole, the week will remain in fond memory of the whole family”

“Wij verbleven met veel plezier in deze mooie woning (3 kamer woning). De omgeving is prachtig. het huis ligt landelijk omgeven door sinaasappel-boomgaarden. Het huis ligt aan een grote tuin met vele zitmogelijkheden. Het zwembad is ruim en fris! Het huis is ruim en is keurig op orde. De keuken is voorzien van apparaten van goede kwaliteit, incl. handleidingen. Ook is er een ruim aanbod aan servies, bestek, pannen en uiteenlopend keukengerei. De slaapkamers zijn ook ruim en voorzien van grote……

“The house is pretty good and functional. That's plenty of space everywhere. The fridge was big what I think it is a plus to a big house. The cleaning wasn't perfect, but we talk with the host and he fixed it right away. And also during the week we ask if it was possible to clean the pool (because of the wind some dirt/sand came inside) and in the next day the pool was super clean. The house is good and the place is very calm and silent. Just one photo doesn't represents the reality: the space……
