"We had planned to stay here for the last night of our 28 day trip to Portugal and Spain, but we were let down by our last Air BnB so we ended up leaving that early and stayed at Ria Formosa Guest House for our last 4 days. We were a little worried as most people seem to stay only 1 night as an airport stopover so we weren't sure if 4 nights was too many. It certainly wasn't and we had a great stay and could easily have stayed longer. The design of the hotel, the cleanliness and comfort were all excellent. The room was a great size too, with a good bathroom and shower. The location also turned out well, as we had a car and could easily travel to local towns when we wanted to. We didn't use the pool but it looked great and the pool area itself was very tidy and clean. Every member of staff we dealt with was excellent too, and were really willing to ensure we had everything we needed and that we were happy, which we were. They have what they describe as a snack bar but we felt it was more than that with a reasonable selection of decent food - really handy on a couple of evenings when the local restaurants were closed or we didn't want to go out."
