「Clean and spacious. Loved the fridge's ice maker. Upstairs double beds both very low to the ground so not suitable for my elderly parents. More practical kitchen utensils would be useful. Tv and music system ( CD player) could do with updating. Otherwise very nice, lovely pool area and the Cafe Del Arte restaurant is fabulous and just a one minute walk.」

「Where to start. The track up to the apartment is very narrow, steep and rough. Its awkward to turn around at the top. When parking on the tiny parking space the car goes on 3 wheels getting on and off. Its not ideal. The apartment. The spiral staircase looks good on the pictures. The reality is its a nightmare. Its too narrow to take a suitcase up. We banged our heads on the metal steps and on the roof at the top. Its very dangerous going down to the bathroom at night. The roof terrace sold us...

「The apartment was great for two of us for one week. Access and communications were good. Shower was hot with adequate power. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen could do with some essentials, seasoning, oil, vinegar etc. but we ate out in the main. Town easy to access, 10 minutes downhill. Slower coming back uphill! We especially enjoyed watching the cruise liners come in and out of the harbour. Madeira/Funchal does have extremely steep narrow roads which you should be aware of if renting a vehicle....

「L’hébergement est bien située et le lieu est magnifique dans les jardins. Par contre dans les détails de la réservation il était mentionné qu’on avait accès à une piscine et 5 bains à remous. Ce qui n’était pas le cas. Aucune piscine sur le site mais il y avait un spa. L’hébergement était bien mais sentait l’humidité. Malgré tout nous avons passé un bon séjour mais au départ nous voulions un hébergement avec piscine. L’arrivée c’est bien passé mais soyez au courant qu’il y a une longue...

「Wat hebben we genoten van de heerlijke plek, het huis, een buitenplaats , dichtbij zee, restaurantje. De communicatie verliep snel duidelijk en vriendelijk. De eigenaresse zwaaide ons uit en kregen ook leuk presentje mee 」
