"Kevin was a great host! Was always quick in responds and and friendly! The home had all the amenities we needed. My family and I all had a great time vacationing in this home. The sunsets and views is really sold us on staying here. The property is secluded enough that you don't feel like there are prying neighbors and can fully relax and enjoy your stay. Already thinking about booking this property again for our next family gathering!"

"Everything was excellent. House was in great shape and as advertised. Attention to detail in the house really helped find and access everything. Only downside is the expensive cost to heat the pool and pool never felt "warm" as 85 degrees would seem and can't heat hot tub and pool at same time but other than those smaller things, it is amazing place and location"

"We booked this home at the last minute and I can’t believe it was available! We have lived in simple luxury all week! We have stayed at many top-notch places and this beats them all. This place is CLEAN. The beds are comfortable. There is space and privacy for all — with plenty of places to come together. The pool and hot tub were worth every penny to heat for us in March - even during the “hot” spell. We spent hours in there and never once had to get used to the water. Everything is labeled and helpful. I was pleased that there was foil, plastic wrap, and ziplocs! Those little touches are nice. The neighborhood is super quiet but only 5 minutes from a mall with a target and food. We were able to eat all our meals at home. The grill worked great! The BEAUTY was something to behold! Lemon and orange trees on the property. Flowers and trees and plants of all kinds. Gorgeous! Winter in Illinois makes you appreciate that so much!The host replies nearly instantly. And is helpful and kind and experienced. San Diego is about a 45 minute drive without much traffic and sometimes there is traffic…We went in to the city for fun activities three days in a row and it was not too much for us. There was still time to relax.We loved the tide pools at La Jolla and being able to rent jet skis! The guys enjoyed the USS Midway. This place gives you access to any kind of vacation you want to have. This is one place we would actually book again. Thanks so much for the memories!"

"The property was nice when we first arrived! However, there were also plenty of questionable situations that happened and doors and cages (yes cages) not listed in the photos/description of property! It felt as if someone was watching us from both inside the home and outside! It got to a point where we didn’t let the teens go out to the game room alone! There was also a complaint from a neighbor of a party being thrown on a Monday night … the owner called me early Tuesday morning to let me know he received the complaint at about 11pm! I let him know there was no party and at that time I was was cleaning the kitchen, washing bath towels plus pool towels and all the teens were in their rooms. When the teens all woke up we discussed the complaint and that’s when the boys told me someone was walking on the top of the game room roof and pounding on the side wall! I called the owner back to let him know but he did not answer! That evening my husband and I knew the teens were in the game room and since it was after 9pm (quiet hours) we walked backed there to see what we could hear, thinking maybe the TV was too loud (though that couldn’t have been mistaken for a party) but through the closed doors we couldn’t hear anything! My husband and I went in to remind the girls to not make noise on the way back in to the house and they quickly said “are you guys trying to scare us” and told us someone was banging on the side wall! So much more happened. Just be mindful if staying here! "

"The pool was incredible!! Better than it looks in pictures. The slide was such a hit for the whole family. Poolside was great too - lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. And the rest of the backyard is amazing too. We played on the putting green, enjoyed badminton, the hot tub and the stunning fire pit. We didn’t have a need to leave the house because there was so much to do right at our fingertips. The inside was wonderful too. Very clean, comfortable, nice decor and many different spaces for the family to spread out. We loved the game room and really enjoyed evening movies on the giant projection screen. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen too. Communication with the hosts was great. They were always quick to respond and were very helpful and friendly. We’d definitely come back again. You won’t regret staying here. "
