Relaxing Stay
My husband and I loved the house. The layout is great and it’s very comfortable. The view of the river is beautiful and relaxing, even though the weather wasn’t the best. We lost power one night but sat and talked rather than watching TV so not a bad thing. We will definitely be back.

Riverdance Exceeds Expectations
Riverdance is a very comfortable home at the end of the street in a nice neighborhood just minutes from Douglas and Saugatuck. It is nicely situated on the Kalamazoo River with lots of bird life and great views. The home is well furnished. We enjoyed our stay here.

Definitely one to revisit!
Home and location were absolutely wonderful. Riverdance overlooks the Kalamazoo River which is home to beautiful wildlife. We enjoyed hours of fun and relaxation in the heated pool, hottub, deck, screened porch, and lounging and cooking indoors while enjoying the view outdoors. We rented kayaks for the weekend and were able to set in and out as we chose. What an awesome long weekend!

Best Rental Home We Have Ever Had
We have stayed in many rental homes on vacation and this one is by far the best. First of all, the property is beautiful, even more beautiful than the listing (which is saying a lot). The wildlife near the property is so neat. Second, the home itself is very clean and well decorated. I am a neat freak and I am really grossed when the homes we stay at are not truly clean. This one was VERY clean, and you can tell the owner takes care to keep things in good repair. It was well stocked with things like dish soap, shampoo, etc which I think was really going above and beyond since most places we have rented are very stingy when it comes to those little things. Lastly, it was pretty chilly while we were there and my kids could still use the pool and hot tub. I know the listing says the pool is heated, but in the back of my mind i was doubtful it would actually be warm enough for us to swim. Well, I was wrong. It was really heated quite a bit so my kids were able to enjoy a lot of swimming despite the chilly weather. That really made a difference in the trip and we enjoyed it so much more because of that. This is an excellent stay for anyone, but I would especially recommend it for a family. We will be back at some point!

Wonderful Riverdance
We have been to several homes as rental’s and this one is one of the best!!!! Peaceful surroundings, exceptional amenities. All the beds are super comfy! On Lake Kalamazoo in a secluded area but the short drive to Saugatuk and Douglas makes the location perfect. We will be back!

Stunning views, beautiful clean, comfortable home.
Could not be happier with this home. It is exactly as described, maybe better. The hot tub was great, and although we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, we all imagined it would be stunning in the warm weather to lounge about in, or around, taking in the beautiful river views, watching all the wildlife, including the swans and herons. House is very spacious, very clean, and comfortable furniture and beds. Screened porch would be great in the summer to keep bugs away, and watch sunrises. Full walls of windows make this house very bright and inviting. Great vacation rental! Thanks for sharing!!

Great house and location
Riverdance was a great house for our family with 4 young kids and the location is minutes from multiple beaches. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. The owner/manager was great to work with and very responsive when a couple of minor issues came up. We look forward to staying here again.

Ideal Location & Floorplan
We rented Todd’s place for a long weekend with friends away from husbands/kids. It was so clean, the location is fantastic and everything in the house was perfectly kept, cleaned and very well maintained. The outside area was perfect for our needs. The pool was extremely relaxing and nice and warm, even on a cool afternoon. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had the best time staying at this property. The house was immaculately clean and exactly as described. Great for our family with 3 little kids. Such a quiet, peaceful area and super quick drive to downtown Saugutuck. We weren’t ready to leave and will definitely be back!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
This property is AMAZING. The house is perfect - all on one level and decorated SO nicely! Our favorite things were the hot tub, the amazing views, watching the wildlife, the decor...we could go on and on. We cannot wait to come back when the pool is open. Todd, the owner, was welcoming and was available for any questions or problems. If I could give this property 25 stars I would! Highly recommend! (just not when we want to stay there! LOL)

Perfect Retreat
We had a wonderful stay in Douglas! We enjoyed the view of the river while the kids splashed in the pool. The layout of the hone perfectly accommodated two families with young kids. The design was modern and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an upright mixer for whipping up kid approved treats! Todd made our experience top notch from proving information regarding the anticipated pool closure for the season, to where the trundle sheets were stored and finally allowing an early check in on arrival. We will definitely be booking this home with a wildlife haven again!

Outstanding rental
We had a terrific stay at Riverdance. The location was perfect - close enough to town for it to be convenient yet far enough out that we felt disconnected. The corner lot with the pool, hot tub, and river could not have been better. The house was perfectly appointed with everything we could have needed and more (there was even little bottles of soap and shampoo in the bathroom!). Outfitted in Pottery Barn furniture, the home was very comfortable, clean, and delightful. We communicated with the home owner throughout our stay and he was terrific. I highly recommend this property. We will be back.

Picturesque property
From start to finish the process of renting the property with Todd was seamless. He communicates in a timely and professional fashion. His property is equipped with everything you’d need. From the moment we stepped in we felt safe and at home due to the clean scents of the house. Making our way around we just fell in love and spent nearly 100% of the time in the backyard. A gem on the lake
This place has it all. It is on a corner lot with a large backyard where the heated pool, hot tub, BBQ and fire pit are. We spent lots of time in the three season room, eating meals looking out at nature. People are fishing on the lake and we saw several catches right by the property. The lake is loaded with swans. Todd is an amazing host, responded quickly to any questions and is very accommodating. The home is large and roomy. Beds are comfortable. Had whatever we needed on the property as if anticipating our needs. You will not regret choosing this property if you are looking for a beautiful escape.

Perfection...
Just home from a 5-night stay at Riverdance and it was perfect! The house was amazing; comfy, peaceful, roomy and sparkling clean. Didn’t even matter that we had rainy, cold weather as we spent time with our adult kids and granddaughter playing games, baking, eating way too much, reading and reconnecting. Saugatuck /Douglas were fun to explore but Riverdance was the gem!! Don’t forget to visit The Farmhouse in Douglas for extraordinary sandwiches, soups and bakery. Thank you Todd for everything...

Relaxing Riverdance
First outing since March to Riverdance was perfect for relaxing! Peaceful surroundings with modern necessities! Enjoyed afternoon swims in the warm pool, reading by the fire on rainy afternoons and binge watching the latest on Netflix. House was clean and has HGTV design qualities. Location to Douglas and Saugatuck was perfect to easily pop in for shopping and dining yet felt remote as you watched the river wild life from the porch. Host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and would look forward to planning a return visit.

Great lake Michigan getaway
This was a great place to stay... tucked away in quiet neighborhood, but very short drive to towns of Douglas or Saugatuck. Not far from the larger towns of South Haven and Holland either. House is in great shape and professionally kept. Heated pool and hot tub were super nice... backdrop of the river and wetlands made it really special. Quick access to lots of activities on the beach, river, dunes or town.

Gorgeous home - inside and out!
Riverdance was absolutely perfect for my husband and I, our 2 daughters (10 & 12) and my parents for a week-long summer vacation. Plenty of space inside the home which was beautifully decorated & updated and very clean - truly felt like a home, not a rental. Just as gorgeous were the outdoors which sat on a huge corner lot to enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the deck, screened-in porch, pool and hot tub. My family especially loved the fishing right off the lot and watching the boats & kayaks go by. There were a lot of geese and swans on the property (which can be good & bad) as well as mosquitoes at night. There was certainly plenty to do close by if you want to venture out. We shopped & dined in downtown Saugatuck & Douglas, we played in the waves and caught a sunset on Oval Beach, we painted pottery at the Art Barn, we did the Dune Ride, we hiked the State Park and we rode our bikes to Holland for lunch. Next year we'll check out the wineries. We can't wait to come back again and hope we can stay at Riverdance. Thanks for sharing this gem with us Todd!

Perfect
My friend and I booked Riverdance for a girls getaway and fell in love. The house is exactly as pictured, the views were so mesmerizing we hated to leave to go out and while we were out we couldn't wait to get back. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on (especially for a rental). The decor is lovely with so many tasteful details. The property contact was very responsive. We were close to shopping, hiking, wine and cidering. I have never spent that much on a rental, but it was worth every penny. I want to go back!

October Get-Away
We had a nice relaxing fall weekend at Riverdance with our teenage daughters. The property was exactly as described - very neat and clean. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed the views. We would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the pool as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Riverdance Wonder
The home is perfectly appointed and stocked. Seeing this magnificent river every day was the most calming and peaceful experience I’ve ever had. We were able to use the pool nearly every day and it was wonderful! Todd is an amazing host; helpful and friendly. Location location location ... next door to Saugatuck and short drive to South Haven, Holland, Fenville. We will be back!

Great house, great location
We enjoyed our visit to the Riverdance property. House was extremely clean, had all the necessary amenities and was in a wonderful location. Directions from Todd were easy to follow upon arrival and departure. Todd went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! Absolutely Amazing!
We went to Riverdance for a long weekend to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The house was so clean and had so much space. Every little detail was thought of in what we could need and it was decorated perfectly! Even though it was snowing one night, we still used the hot tub and it was perfect! The view and sunset was amazing! The owner was a pleasure to work with as well and we will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house and beautiful views
We spent a lovely 4 nights at Riverdance in September and couldn’t have had a more relaxing trip. Todd’s house is just beautiful and was exceptionally clean. Everything we needed to feel like we were right at home. We spent most of our time on the deck and in the pool...can’t beat the views. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub when it cooled down at night. We can’t wait to come back!

This property has it all... a gorgeous setting that is akin to a beautiful ever changing nature portrait, a gorgeous pool & hot tub that are seamless with the surroundings, & an impeccably decorated & spotlessly clean updated home with ample community space for families to gather & wonderful nooks to sneak off for quiet time. The screen in porch is ideal for watching kayakers / boaters float by while you dine el fresco on a meal you prepared on the Weber grill. The bedrooms are good size & offer comfy beds. The washer dryer are also a convenience for keeping up on beach towels. The AC set at 72 kept the home nice & cool. I was a bit concerned about that before our arrival as I have asthma & we usually keep our AC set at 69/70 at home but this felt comparable & very comfortable. The yard is larger than it appears in photos which was wonderful for yard games. We set up croquet & kuub and still had plenty of space. There is a fire pit on site which was good size but we never got around to using it bc the screen porch was so comfortable to play boardgames in at night. The kitchen is centrally located in the home & near the backyard entertaining space. It is updated with ample granite counter space & fantastic newer (& quiet) appliances. The frig is large enough for plenty of food storage & the ice maker does work. I cannot express how serene the surroundings are...& ever changing. Two cranes greeted us in the backyard, fish jumping in the river, geese flying overhead, the reeds along the river swaying in the breeze, & the sunset (gorgeous). It really was like living in a moving picture of nature for a week. While in the area, we shopped, boated, dined, & visited with family. I always like to share unique experiences we stumble across & this trip was retro boats. They offer cute little boats fitted to look like 50s cars that you can toodle down the river in. They also offer donut boats for groups of up to 10. We did both & thoroughly enjoyed it. Check them out. For dining, check out Bowdies Chophouse & Marros? (Italian). The piano bar was adult fun. Todd was wonderful. Very responsive & accommodating to special requests. We rent an avg of 6 vacation rentals per year, all over the world, so when we give a 5 star rating, it is earned. Thank you, Todd, for sharing your home with our family & friends. And pass along a special thank you to your cleaning crew as your home was spotless (& I'm a clean freak!) Amazing property. Perfect for family get together.
This was a perfect place for a family vacation with our grown children. Between the pool, the hot tub and the fishing right off the sea wall, we barely went into town. The house itself is amazing with lots of space so no one felt crowded. The furnishings are all high quality and the house is beautifully decorated. The layout is perfect and maximizes the views of the river. We stayed for a long weekend but will definitely stay longer next time.

This is really a great property in a great location. Everything is within a 10 minute drive. The house has everything you need. Being on the river is amazing, plus the screened in porch, pool, hot tub make this a small slice of paradise.

Lovely house in a beautiful location
The house and yard were clean, comfortable and well equipped. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen equipped with pretty much everything we needed. All in all it was a great week and we'll likely come back.

Beautifully modern home with amazing views!
We had a wonderful time in this recently renovated home. The layout was very spacious and very well thought out. Lots of light and plenty of gathering spaces for the whole gang! The outdoor patio is gourgeous with amazing views of the water on 2 sides. Quite and serene. We enjoyed meeting the goose families with babies that were also enjoying the lawn! This house is easy to find and very easy to navigate to both Douglas and Saugatuk. We will be returning to this beautiful home for sure in the near future!!

Fantastic rental - will stay again!
I just returned from Riverdance and have already started planning our next vacation there! We love the Douglas/Saugatuck area but rentals can be a bit all over the place. Riverdance looked like a perfect rental - right on the water with a pool - and it certainly was. It was fun to watch the boats and kayaks go by from the comfort of a chair on the patio. The brand-new pool is perfect and such a luxury- it was delightful to have a swim in the morning and evening. In the past, we've stayed within walking distance to the Douglas beach but I think we preferred this location on the river. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs and we used the grill one night for dinner. Having two living areas (and two separate TVs) was great during a quick rainstorm. Our party of 5 never felt squished or like we didn't have enough space. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The technology for the house was easy to navigate and it was convenient to have Netflix available as well. Overall, we loved our stay and look forward to planning another visit to the area.

Fabulous place for all ages, simply stunning and superbly relaxing
A family group of 6, three generations' worth, we stayed at Riverdance for a wonderful week in early September. The house is newly and completely refurbished, with a very well-supplied kitchen, new appliances and high quality throughout. It has two completely separate and equally attractive gathering areas, one with fireplace, so there is never a feeling of being cramped. Actually, there are more than that as there is a large and very comfortable screened porch adjacent to the deck that runs along the length of the house. A dining room, plus table on both the deck and the screened porch mean that you can dine wherever the mood or the weather suits. The house flows incredibly well. The continuous and ever-shifting views of the river gliding by had us all mesmerised and seriously regretting the end of the week. Binoculars had been thoughtfully provided so we could monitor the abundant birdlife and other fauna. Twice we saw a river otter swimming by! We all enjoyed the hot tub as the sun set turning the reeds golden and the sky pink and later, the starry sky full--even plenty of falling stars. Thank you, Todd! When we could tear ourselves away from the pleasures of the house, it was a 5 minute drive to quaint Douglas with its shopping and great restaurants--our favourite is Everyday People. We've rented houses in the Saugatuck area several times, but Riverdance provides a completely different experience that we definitely want to come back to again.
