Comfortable and friendly in Fernie

The property was not the fanciest I've every stayed in, but it was very comfortable. Two nice bedrooms, one with a tiny "en-suite" bathroom besides the cull bathroom. There was a very comfortable lounger and couch in the good-sized living room and an adequate kitchen. The contents of the kitchen cupboards were pleasantly surprising (pasta, teas, coffee, spices, oils, snacks), which are often lacking. We might have liked a microwave and could have used a couple of smaller pots/casseroles, since there were only two of us and the ones there were mostly rather large. The property was within fairly easy walking distance of the "downtown" area and the view was nice. The property manager was very good - friendly and good at answering our questions promptly. We never used in built-in sauna, but I'm sure it would be appreciated by many.A good experience!
