I spent three days in Fez solo before meeting friends in Marrakech. The warmth I felt staying in Alexandre and Yasmine's Riad Le Calife was incredible. They are wonderful hosts; you feel like a guest in their home as you explore the city. They offered great insight on how best to explore Fez and the surrounding area, and also secured top-notch tour guides and pick-up services from the train station and airport. Furthermore, that warmth extended to the whole staff, who were all incredibly kind and helpful. Truly wonderful experience. The riad itself is also incredibly special, beautifully laid out and decorated, with each room having a unique character. The hammam and massage were also great. And the rooftop restaurant had an incredible view of the medina. Highly recommend.

It was truly the best riad experience we could have hoped for.
Alex, Yasmine, and all of the staff were incredibly kind and full of hospitality, which made us feel completely comfortable and allowed us to fully enjoy exploring Fes.
Everything was exceptional — the beautifully designed interiors, the elegant decoration, the delicious breakfast, and the wonderful private dinner experience.
If we ever have the chance to visit Fes again, we would absolutely love to stay here again.
