"Beautiful property. Much nicer than the online photos depict. One bed in loft was an air mattress, another a pull out couch. and not in an actual room. Perfect for kids but not adults. The kitchen was very well supplied. Even chocolate chips and other baking supplies. It is a gorgeous place to stay. We would definitely stay there again."

"Historic Birch Lodge and Motel is a hidden gem. We stayed in the Lodge during our stay. The owner escorted us to our room while giving us the history of the building. Plenty of common areas to visit in with family and play games. Extremely nice room and bathroom, with great square footage. Comfortable bed and linens. The environment is peaceful and calm, and outdoor activities to add to your visit."

"Very nice, private. I’m always a little scared when I go on vacation. Don’t consider myself too awful picky but most rentals leave something to be desired cleanliness wise. This place was clean. All of it. Nothing was too far away by car and the views from the property were fabulous. They supplied two kayaks which were used daily. The water was walkable way out there, you could go 100 yards out without getting your waist wet - really wish I would have brought my little dog. Sleeping 8 requires a fold out couch but if you’re not into that there is a HUGE sectional that my son and DIL did not want to trade for my queen after they tried it so there’s that. Host was VERY accessible (had a TV problem, no big deal, but he was answering my text with a phone call in seconds). Nice size kitchen if your whole family likes to cook. Our party was almost 1 year old up to 69 and everyone was happy."
