Beautiful Cabin on private lake close to all the attractions in the Eastern UP!

Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

We enjoyed our week stay a couple years ago, so booked it again for a two week stay this year. Beautiful place to stay for a relaxing vacation and convenient place to go visit attractions in the eastern UP. Had air conditioning and heat and all amenities. Clean and comfortable!

Great cabin!

Very quiet and peaceful location! Our kids enjoyed the paddle boat, playing in the yard and playing the games and puzzles that were supplied in the cabin. The inside of the cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. My husband appreciated that the propane tank was full for the grill and that he didn’t have to go out and get some after our long drive! Check in and out was also very easy!

Perfect spot to relax

We had an absolutely amazing stay. It was a great quiet location, the lake was the perfect size, the deck and living room was serene to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect distance to town for amenities.

The place is absolutely beautiful- actually, a lot better than the photos in the listing. It was spotless, and we loved the interior and decor. The lake view was truly the cherry on top. We did face a minor issue with the restroom not flushing properly due to a full septic tank, but everything else went smoothly. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Up north getaway

This is perfectly located in the middle of eastern upper peninsula. Easy to get to all the surrounding towns. Very nice cabin and the lake is great for fishing.
