“The room was very clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff are very polite and efficient. There are so many different things to do within Vintano. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.”

“This hotel is not really managed in any meaningful sense. Wifi went down for three days, which meant going off to another hotel to work. They gave me a carton of orange juice by way of apology! The lady at reception also didn't know that only one of the POS machines works for international cards so lots of time wasted try to make a payment. I checked out and moved to Nordic hotel -- more expensive but at least stuff works and you can get things done. I should say that staff at the View are……

“The staff at Lilygate are exceptional. I was created by my name as soon as I walked in the door! Nice touch. In addition, I was created with a refreshing cold bottle of water and juice. Ms. Chinyere Kalu, leader at the front desk was a perfect example of providing excellent customer service. She arranged my transportation from the airport to Lilygate, as well as from Lilygate to Ouidah, Benin. If I lived in Lagos, I would hire Ms. Kalu. If you're looking for a safe, comfortable, and……

“The staff were friendly, listened and responded quickly to concerns. The staff ability to quickly respond to concerns was the highlight of my stay here. However, the hotel needs to do more with their options for breakfast. The idea that your reservation is paid for as 2 persons - your breakfast should also be for two persons and not with the option of the second person paying.”

“My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the first day, the door to my room was broken and remained an issue throughout my stay. Basic necessities were also unreliable the water would randomly shut off multiple times throughout the day, making it difficult to shower or even use the sink consistently. Housekeeping was another major problem. I requested room cleaning on several occasions, yet repeatedly returned to find my room untouched. Even something as simple as getting clean……

The only real downside was the Wi-Fi and the food delivery took way too long to arrive. The foid was really tasty though so that made up for the wait. Also there were hidden nightly fees so make sure to read the fine print before booking.”
