The owners did state they are building a bigger bunk house on their property so I plan to return with more of my family. We are very thankful for this retreat in the woods. “Owner allowed us to enter an hour early, which was greatly appreciated as we had driven 6 hours from Jersey. The place was simple but had all we needed for a stop in the road trip. The dogs were educated by the new smells of animals like goats, chickens, turkeys and cows, pretty funny. Just too bad the pool cover was still on, as it was quite hot for mid April.”

“We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going……
