“Like almost every beach side hotel in Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach the facility is not new. This hotel had some wear but the room was very clean, beds were comfortable, towels were a nice bright white, and the pool is great. Jackie kept the breakfast area spotless and well stocked. Our three little boys were able to find things for breakfast and we all loved the bagel bar. The balcony of our room faced the ocean which was an unexpected, fantastic surprise. “A very enjoyable stay except for the check in was horrible!!!
We arrived at 4:00but the room was not ready until 6:30.
After a long 8 hour drive with a 1 year old baby ready for a nap, we were ready to unpack and stretch our legs.
I know that some things are impossible to control but we felt 2 1/2 hours were completely unreasonable.
Is it possible to get some kind of compensation for this inconvenience? We are loyal Hilton fans.”
