「Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms」

While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). 「Great stay! We were not expecting too much based on the price but we were wrong. Natalie (I’m sure thats right) on reception greeted us and had some great tips for us on the local area (and Disney! Thanks for those too). The room was large and clean. Tv was excellent. Ceiling fan was a god send. Pool area very nice and refreshing after a hot day. Can’t even fault the buffet breakfast which was very tasty. Would most definitely stay again in in the area. Thanks!」
