Where to start…the initial issue was connecting to the WiFi, the instructions were vague and more importantly the WiFi network they said to use was not available. I called the support line, they gave me another WiFi network and password to try, neither worked. We did get connected after a few hours. Secondly, and more importantly every night we were there (4 total nights), either a non functioning wired smoke detector ( one room did not have one) went off, or the WiFi went out around 2:30 am -3:30 am. every night/ morning and beeped every minute for several hours. This caused every one in my family to not sleep, and because of this some missed events as we celebrated our son’s graduation. The location is why I chose this place since it was close to my son’s apartment and the university. I highly do not recommend Porter Properties. I have stayed at several VRBO properties in Flagstaff and this one, Mountain Jewel was the worst.
