Family Fun Easter Weekend

The home was Perfect!!! Our 2 pets were comfortable and it was so roomy for family to stay and cook and have a good time. It snowed one day and was very warm and cozy. Very clean and great amenities throughout the home. Also, the game room was very fun. The walking trails were also perfect to take our pets out for a walk. Thank you for offering this home to us.

Christmas in Flagstaff

We had an amazing stay at this retreat in the pines. Our family stayed over the holidays and it felt like home. The house is beautifully decorated and it was also decorated for Christmas which made it extra special. The kitchen and entertaining areas are spacious. The pool table and arcade are an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect family retreat

This house had everything we needed for a family escape. We appreciated all the amenities and the fact that is is pet friendly. It is very apparent that is was set up and run by professionals. One caution to future renters- be sure to read the emailed contract concerning damage insurance. You will be charged for damage insurance even after declining during the reservation process unless you contact the property manager directly prior to your stay.

Great home in the pines

My husband and I and our grown children and one grandson enjoyed out stay. We all enjoyed the walking trails and the community park. This vacation rental had easy access to downtown but was located in a very private peaceful neighborhood.

A Fun Getaway, Everything We Needed

Super nice! Great place! Would love to stay here again. Clean, comfortable and close to where we needed to be. When we weren't working, having the pool table and mini arcade gave us stuff to do at the end of the day.

Terrific property on the outskirts of Flag. Perfect spot to bounce in to town, Grand Canyon, Sedona. Will absolutely book again!

Excellent location beautiful home

The home was perfect for my needs. Took my adult children to Flagstaff for thanksgiving. The home has tons of space and so many fun games. We hiked went into town and stayed in. I highly recommend this home.

Great Get-Away

We had such an amazing get-away at this property. The listing is just as pictured. The kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade game. It was a lot of fun to play as a family. The living space is comfortable with a cozy gas fireplace. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our size party. We enjoyed the backyard corn hole and bungee chair. This property is super clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Bonus...it's close to many family friendly restaurants. We will add this to our list of Flagstaff favorites.

Great place for young families

We stayed two nights for our visit to The North Pole Experience. It was a short drive to Flagstaff and about an hour and half away from Grand Canyon. Everything was clean and as described. Only issue was the parking situation. The driveway was really steep and we were not able to get our cars into the garage and you can’t steet park. (Reference we drove a Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna) But Overall great and our entire family enjoy the stay.

Beautiful Property

We loved the location and our home itself. I called to request an hour early checkin. She said she would get right back to me and I never heard back. Three hours later upon arrival I called again and was able to get in. Upon arrival the home was tidy and welcoming. However, the cleanliness was not as good as I would want. I had to rewash the master bedding as it had animal hair inside on the sheets. The outside patio furniture was unusable because it was covered in a fine yellow dust from the pine trees. These should have been blown off before arrival. We had to sit on the driveway steps and were not able to enjoy the patio. Also the beds were very hard for our preference. Loved the area and house but for those reasons we will not be visiting this property again.

Great house for a family

This was one of the better VRBO properties we've stayed at. The house was clean, spacious and had plenty of entertainment. The kitchen was spacious and we enjoyed the seating at the large island. We did experience one minor problem which should be noted for potential new renters. The driveway is exceptionally steep and my truck slid down into the street overnight, even with the parking brake on. This is not a reflection on the house or management. Just for information.

Great Family House

My family of four shared this house with another family of 4 for a long weekend. The layout of the house is a really good use of space and the main living area is open and spacious. The only downsides were that there was no table to eat at or play cards (only the counter on the island), and there were limited utensils and kitchen items. On the plus side, the property had a grill which was not listed prior to us going, which was a nice bonus but would have been nice to know in advance. Finally, there was a fair amount of road noise from the I17 - just something to be aware of.

This house feels like a home

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house feels like a home. It's modern, beautiful and very clean. We played pool. Sat on the very large porch in the morning with coffee. We sat around the firepit and star gazed at night. The kichen is very big with island seating for six. Thank you for adding the room darkening curtains and bathroom door in the master. It makes all the difference for sleeping. The other the bedrooms would benefit from the room darkening curtains. The only caution to guests is the very steep driveway. The house is in a lovely neighborhood. Good for walks. It's about a 15 minute drive from downtown Flagstaff.

Good stay

Our family enjoyed or stay. The house was nice. I probably won’t stay again though. The driveway is on a hill. Our two cars fit perfect but if I would of brought my truck then it would of been a huge issue. Our kids were excited with having an arcade but the arcade didn’t work properly. Would of been nice to have step by step instructions on how to operate and calibrate controllers. So didn’t get to play at all. Lucky the pool table kept them occupied . We were disappointed that the property manager did answer back to fix arcade.

The home was quite comfortable and clean, and in a nice residential area, relatively close to downtown Flagstaff as stated. The front porch in the morning and early evening, the master bedroom walk-in shower, and the firm master bedroom platform bed were very nice features during our eight day stay However, as seniors, we had major concerns with the steep driveway for two reasons. Although the driveway was mentioned in the property description, we don't believe the owners were totally forthright nor did they include a photograph to provide a visual perspective to potential renters. The driveway measures a 33 degree slope, which is an astounding 65% grade. Second, there is no handrail on the nine exterior steps and/or landing areas next to the driveway, which in our minds is an accident waiting to happen. If a garage door opener had been provided, the circumstances would have been quite different. For us, while I waited at the bottom of the drive way in our car, my wife had to trek up the front yard from the opposite and more manageable corner of the lot, open the front door, and then raise the garage door. We then reversed the process when we left the home. Even as nice a home as it is, for seniors or for those with younger toddlers, one may wish to keep in mind the entire current setting.

Enjoyed that could use some improvements

The house itself was nice. Nicely decorated. Nice neighborhood. A couple of things to note: Driveway is extremely steep. After two times in and out, we ended up parking in the street as each time we pulled our rental car through to the garage it scraped the bottom of the car. Kitchen: dishes were well stocked. However, would have been nice to have some Tupperware type bowls for storage as there were no baggies, tinfoil, or saran wrap. Hot water, in kitchen was extremely slow. By the time I was finished washing a dish, still no hot water. Also would’ve been nice if there was a dining room table. Bedrooms were nice. However, for me personally, the bed were extremely uncomfortable very hard mattress. Enjoyed the pool table and the corn hole game.
