"This was our 3rd stay at the Ice House at White Fate Farm. As always, the rustic Ice House cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a comfortable summer getaway from the city. The little kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The foldout bed in the livingroom was comfortable enough for my teen son, while the bedroom in the loft is very comfy. The view from the large picture window is beautiful. There are kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy and a friendly school of sunfish that will swim right up to you. We loved going for walks around the picturesque grounds and over to the farm stand for their selection of goodies. The Ice House is a relaxing, rustic stay for nature and farm lovers."

"This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much. The farm has so many great features ... the lovely indoor decor; the expansive, interesting outdoors; the well-tended pool; a kitchen comfortable for multiple cooks; central air conditioning; easy proximity to shopping, but total quiet at the site. I could go on listing advantages, but no more space. We were 11 adults of 3 generations. "

"My son and I had a great time. Hotel staff at check-in was absolutely fantastic as well as check out. My son and I travel often and he is 11, and he was so impressed with the little goodie bag he was given when we arrived as well as the peppermints in the room, and the fact that there was a cute little tea tray on the bed with tea and cups. The modern appearance of the rooms and bathroom mixed with these things made my son feel very fancy."

"The home is decorated nicely and is impeccably clean. It was perfect size for just the two of us but four would be comfortable as well. There are bunk beds in one room and a Queen in the other, nice comfortable pillows and blankets, & the couch is cozy and comfortable! It was nice to have the apps preloaded and signed on already on the TV. It is within walking distance to the downtown area, Niantic Boardwalk, and we enjoyed a hike on the nature trail across the street. A few minutes ride to Stop & Shop, as well as several nice restaurants. There is a gas station right across the street as well. We enjoyed breakfast at “The Shack” and purchased some fresh seafood at the “Flanders Fish Market”. The only thing I would suggest is to put a table lamp and some TV trays in the living area. Hard to hold a drink while sitting in the couch with nowhere to put it down, I was worried I would spill it so that took away from the comfort a little but not enough to effect my coming again! Next time I’d bring my lap tray. It was also hard to read a book on the couch at night with the lighting arrangement as the stairway light doesn’t provide bright enough light to read on the couch at night. A few more dish towels would have come in handy, there was one. There was plenty of bath towels and a few washcloths. Overall a very nice stay and I would visit again with a few minor things I’d bring to make the stay perfect! "
