Mountain Tranquility
This peaceful, non-smoking, fully furnished home, above 3000' elevation, has lots of outdoor spaces. Located 1/2 mile from access to S Fork New River. Our master suite is complete with vintage queen bed, tv and large jetted whirlpool tub/shower. Living area features large screen smart tv, wifi and gas fireplace. Den / reading room with board games and smart tv. Spacious farmhouse kitchen comes with all appliances including dishwasher, toaster, blender, 12 cup drip coffee maker, keurig, crockpot and much more. Complete laundry room with modern front load washer and dryer. Sheets and towels are provided. Beautiful outdoor space includes spacious deck with patio furniture to enjoy privacy and long range mountain views. A gas grill is also provided for cooking that wonderful meal while enjoying the quiet. Behind the house you will find a seating and hammock to enjoy mountain climate. Should you encounter inclement weather, there is also a covered carport with ample parking. Road does NOT require 4 wheel drive. Close to shopping, New River, and Blue Ridge Parkway, West Jefferson and Boone.

We had another wonderful stay at this mountain retreat! It was just as clean, cozy, and relaxing as we remembered. The space makes it easy to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It truly feels like a home away from home. This was our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last!

This place was perfect! Had everything we needed for a short weekend of relaxation. Very clean and modern. We really liked the ease of unloading and reloading our things into and from the house. A heavy rain set in on Sunday and the carport saved us from getting soaked while we loaded our stuff to go home. Location is awesome. Very close to West Jefferson and Boone. Host communicating regarding our stay. Quick to respond. The place was very inviting and clean. The hosts seem very thoughtful even down to little things like tissues on both sides of the bed. I know that seems small, but as I was packing to leave it was something I noticed. Loved they had games, books, and I'm from Florida so heat was a concern, but there was no disappointment there! Just follow the instructions from the host, it was dark when we arrived and we did miss the drive, but that was explained in email from the hosts. Definately recommend and plan to return. Enjoy!

We had a fantastic time during our stay while going to the antique festival. The house was exceptionally clean and very nice and comfortable and the area was so quiet. We got to spend some quality time with my son and his wife and had a great weekend. Can’t say enough about our hosts they were extremely nice and very easy to deal with. Great little house for a getaway, highly recommend.
