If you're not prepared, travelling can be testing. But there's no need to worry. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a trouble-free start to your holiday in Audubon. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, any medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
