We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight as stress-free as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be zooming through airport security and exploring Baexem before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a stress-free experience if you pack the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Next, leave space in your bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and poisons, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a wise option, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
