Perfect stay within blocks of the beach

My dog and I stayed for a little over a month and this cute little home was perfect for us. It had everything we could possibly need in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The beach was just a few blocks away and was an easy walk to it. Thanks so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your lovely home

Understated access, elegance and simplicity

Quiet neighborhood studio

Relaxing & quiet!

Loved the property! Quiet, restful & a wonderful feeling of being safe. This home had everything we needed & then some. Very close to beach and close but not too close to town. We had a wonderful time & loved being able to park in a garage!

Relaxing and sounds of the surf were lovely.

I was here to visit it with my parents. My dad’s health is failing and it had been 4 years since the last visit, so it was good to spend time with him. Thank you for making a somewhat stressful time so much easier.

Nice neighborhood biking

Our 2nd visit to Surf Sounds. A nice and affordable place to stay. We bring our bikes for short 1-2 mile rides on the quiet neighborhood streets. The garage easily fits our car + bike + bike rack. Leslie the owner helped out quickly when the internet went down temporarily. We look forward to our 3rd stay in the future

Well-Equipped & Comfy

We stayed for 3 days after Christmas. It rained most of the time but we're from the PNW so know how to have fun while dodging raindrops. We were glad our small dog was invited to join us. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts provided a huge binder with lots of useful info. Just be aware that the wifi signal was sometimes a bit weak so occasionally my friend and I had to take turns being online. We look forward to booking again :-)

Heceta Beach House

Our stay was great! Even though it’s a one-room studio the space felt spacious, was very comfortable, very clean, and we had everything we needed. Perfect for a couple. The walk-in closet/linen area was great for extra storage space and for hanging up clothes. The available garage bay was a bonus and allowed us to park our SUV. The pool/snooker table was a lot of fun. We played more pool in one week than in our entire life!! The house is just an easy 10-minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

quiet neighborhood

A wonderful way to stay in Florence. Access to beach is just blocks away in residential area, with very light traffic. Interior is as shown: roomy with a good-sized kitchen and plenty of storage in the large utility/closet. We opened all windows at night for the quiet, the dark, and the stars. Exterior was very nice, especially the raised patio area for morning coffee. Best of all for us--the garage. It is huge and wonderfully set up for those who bring bikes or atvs or trailers. We rode our bikes daily on every street in this older Florence neighborhood for a total of nearly 2 miles. We look forward to staying again

Outstanding Property

We have stayed in rentals all over the world for many years and this is one of the best places we've had. Don't let the fact it's a studio and has a pool table in the living area turn you off. It was very well stocked with modern kitchenware, furniture was comfortable, there was a good recliner, and the bed was good. There was plenty of room for 2 of us during our 10 day stay. It was located less than .5 miles from the beach so a great walk. It is a quiet neighborhood and and easy drive to groceries and other things in Florence. The perks were a garage and a second refrigerator in the garage. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Heceta Beach Bungalow

This little house is a wonderful find for myself and my husband. We brought our 2 Poodles along, who enjoyed it a lot. There was a bit of a walk to the beach area, so we only made it out twice. We had no trouble finding the place. The towels were a tad stiff, but the owners had also provided towels (and toys!) for the dogs. There is no mention of it in the ad, but there is a Keurig coffee machine, I guess this is a new addition to the appliances. We would have brought our own K-Cups if we had known. Overall, the house is just perfect and I look forward to visiting again!

This place was perfect for the two of us and our dog. We loved how easy the walk to the beach was, and the pool table was a lot of fun! Very comfy bed, great parking, and very peaceful atmosphere.

Nice place to unwind by the beach!

Although it may not be a ocean view property, this place was awesome for our visit to friends and family on the Oregon coast! Only a short walk from the water, nice, quiet neighborhood, and very clean and put together when we got there. We even found some time to play some pool :-) it was also very nice to have garage access, when you were on the coast, the fog and all the crud from the trees make your vehicle, a mess and especially driving our personal vehicle from the Midwest for our trip, it was nice to keep our personal vehicle clean for the week. As we have family on the coast, we will be back!
