We LOVED the breakfast at Hotel la Scala. The room was perfect and having bottled water in the fridge and a kettle with tea bags was appreciated. We only stayed one night but we would definitely go back next time! We recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Florence 😊

Once we figured out how to get in (strict 2pm arrival into the building no way to drop bags early) it was wonderful. The service was excellent and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff were so kind and we very much enjoyed our stay. I hope to come back again.

あたたかみのあるホテル 部屋にお茶やお水、おやつがあるのも嬉しい。朝ごはんもおいしい、コーヒーを出してくれる。 少しだけシャワーの水圧がよわいけど、部屋もきれいで快適だった。 スタッフの皆さんもズコットのあるお店を聞いたら親切に電話で在庫確認してくれた 駅からの道は舗装された道が多く、徒歩5分くらいで大きなスーツケースがあっても困らなかった

The hotel is lovely and in a convenient location - walkable to the best sights! The rooms are modern and comfortable in an historic building. The breakfast is delicious - homemade baked goods daily and made to order eggs and coffee. My only caution is that it is in a very noisy neighborhood. There are wonderful restaurants on the street but that makes for a lot of street noise. And there is loud traffic day and night.

Muy buena ubicación y apariencia , las zonas comunes muy acogedoras y la habitación igual . Dos puntos malos es la limpieza al ingresar al edificio , sucio y con mal olor pero hay que tomar en cuenta que no es solo atribuible a Scala. La empleada de turno matutino es muy descortés es una chica al parecer de origen oriental por sus rasgos físicos, es muy cortante y poco dispuesta a ayudar .mas sinembargo la recepcionista de el siguiente turno es demasiado amable . En general es una muy buena opcion de hospedaje

Once we actually found the hotel (look for #21 on the street), the hotel staff were very kind and our room was gorgeous. The room featured a painting on the ceiling that was stunning, and there is a painting on the stairway ceiling as well. You get to literally live in history! I also appreciated the info guide that explained the historical significance of the building itself. The staff were so nice and very knowledgeable. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy - we looked forward to those freshly cooked eggs and fresh lattes/cappuccinos every morning. We did have a couple mosquitos in our room, although they were gone the next day after roomkeeping. And the hotel itself is 6 minute walk from the train station. Highly recommend for a stay in Florence!

Excellent hotel. Would stay here again and will be recommending to friends! Excellent value, close to the train station and all the sights are walkable. The room was huge with an amazing bathroom and beautifully painted ceiling. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were so nice and the breakfast was 10/10.

Very nice and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, great location with Santa Maria Novella and its piazza just around the corner. Spacious, luxurious bathroom and powerful air conditioning. With the old furniture and painted ceiling the ambiance in my room felt very much like an Italian place with history.
