The way from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station was easy (about 10 minute walk), and it’s so close to Duomo. Yet it was very quiet since the hotel is one alley off from it. We could have an early start to sightsee everything right by the hotel to beat the crowd, and it was worth a lot :)

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Villani! Lucia and team were wonderful and welcoming, breakfast was delicious with a lot of options, and the rooftop terrace was really the cherry on top. The only bummers were that the one night we wanted to enjoy the terrace, it was closed early, and that our bed was actually two twins pushed together, not a truly queen/king sized bed. This made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Loved our stay here! Went with my husband and we stayed 4 nights. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The hotel was a bit old but the location made up for it 100%. We were steps away from the duomo. The rooftop was small but admiring the view of the city and of the majestic duomo was everything to us. Overall, 10/10! Will be coming back!

The front desk staff and morning staff were amazing. All very friendly, and helpful. They mailed postcards, set up taxi rides, and gave me great advice on local things to see/do! the view from the rooftop was beautiful. The charm of having real keys and not a key card played into the authenticity of where I was. 10/10 recommend!
